I'm glad you have a great sense of humor about it (given how you have responded to the majority of the posts being playful and only a few giving you actual, practical advice). Kudos for wanting to become more assertive, which is really the key here, because no matter how this scenario plays out with your current (or soon-to-be former) roommate, if you don't change to some degree, the same scenario is probably going to surface again at a later time with a different person. Personally, I'd compile all the logical and rationale reasons of why you have to directly address this with her (liabili

It wasn't that good. But it wasn't worse than Elizabethtown. Watched 1/2 of it this past weekend and had to shut it off. The worse film I've watched in quite awhile.

I have yet to get my 5-day pass, but if and when it happens, I'm more than happy to talk shared lodging with anyone. I will be coming from Charlotte, NC.

I registered but they never sent me a confirmation email. so my account was never activated and I couldn't pre-order. I emailed them about this but they never responded. I'm pretty disappointed.

you can also add "date added" to your menu and when you click on it, it'll put all of your music in the order of the date added.

does anyone know when the drawing is going to be?

There are a lot of hurdles to get to this (both distance & leaving family for 6 days), but I'm going to pursue all my options until there is absolutely no chance of attending this.

it's rerelease isn't happening until early 2008. can anybody help a brother out until then? possibly a PM?

I can't believe one of my recommendations was picked (although I think I listed 8-9 different quotes). Good choice

maybe it's just me, the the demonoid version sounds thin, much thinner than SarahC's version. i would still like the wav versions or at least another recording of it.
-
I would still like the rest of the wav. format if anyone is willing to upload them.

Am I the only one who cannot understand why they included I'm the Man Who Loves You over other songs? The pace may seem funkier, but I thought it wasn't up to par with the rest of the broadcast. For me, I can't remember Sky Blue Sky sounding this good live. I also was touched by On and On and On.

So many to choose from. I think most if not all that have been mentioned are good choices. However, looking back, I wish my senior quote had more playfulness and less earnestness or melodramatic implications. So many quotes tried to be too profound. I wish my senior quote (and most quotes) could incorporate both poetry with a little sense of humor and less taking oneself too seriously. Take that with a grain of salt. With that, here are a couple from Jeff that I think have some lightheartedness as well as creativity, or some perhaps less profound but appropriate nonetheless 1. Everybo

You should only receive thanks from the community. I know that my ample supply of Wilco music comes courtesy of those who have the knowledge and take the time to capture it and upload it. I also hope that keeprighton2 is able to upload the entire stream in an uncompressed format. However, I want to personally send thanks to both SarahC and keeprighton2 for their graciousness and generosity. I hope our VC community never takes it for granted. I have a good feeling it never will lose the generous spirit of community and sharing.

so how much does a vintage nudie suit cost? how much do imitation nudie suits cost? -
any chance that you could make the entire stream available?

Thank you for the tracks. However, did anyone else notice that there are a couple of songs missing?

Ever since I got Moondance from BMG music club back in high school, he has been consistently one of my top 5 artists of all-time. I have close to two dozen of his shows spread out mostly throughout the 70's but also some from the last 15 years. love me some van.

Can anyone who has the capability to capture the stream share it?
-
If the stream is really an uncompressed source, anyone with the know-all want to make a matrix mix?

DMB have written some great and god-awful songs. I really believe there is a lot of talent in the band, they just don't execute a plan that plays up to their strengths. #1. Their music has moved from rootsy jam groove to polished, overproduced MOR music. Bad idea. #2. Dave has got to reign in on his vocal tics and wailing (or whatever you want to call it). #3. The lyrics have to have some emotional attachment to the band. The Lillywhite Sessions (Busted Stuff) was their best album, and lyrically Dave's most naked. It actually had some weight behind his lyrics. #4. Dave & Tim alon

so is the RIAA targeting specific music sites, P2P sites or bittorrent sites? anyone know?

So far, Pushing Daisies and Chuck are my two favorite new shows. Last week, Chuck used Spoon's "Don't Make Me a Target" throughout the episode, and I thought it was well used.
