  1. I love Little Debbie oatmeal cream pies. I could punish a whole box in a day.
  2. I too have looked at that list. As reliable a source Wikipedia is, yes.
  3. I thought the same thing (with nine tracks there must be some long tunes) and also like MMJ's weirder, spacy stuff. I'll always dig the reverb-drenched, lonesome-sounding early records, but these guys continue to grow year after year.
  4. First listen made me go, huh. Second listen made me go, hmmm. Third listen made me go I gotta get some new headphones before this thing comes out. Plus it's not a "Yim Yames" album, but a full-fledged *Jim James* album. It shouldn't, but the whole YY thing bothered me...
  5. New Jim James record out in February. First track available for free download. Interesting stuff. http://www.prefixmag.com/news/my-morning-jackets-jim-james-announces-solo-debut-/71848/

  7. I'm not as familiar with her earlier work, although I've heard some of it. The mellow, introspective quality of "Moon" is what drew me to it in the first place. To each their own.
  8. Ooh, that's a good one. Keeping with Floyd: The Happiest Days of Our Lives >> Another Brick in the Wall, pt. 2
  9. I think Tift Merritt is great. Check out the albums "See You on the Moon" and "Buckingham Solo."
  10. Red-Eyed and Blue >> I Got You Sgt. Pepper's >> With a Little Help From My Friends Sgt. Pepper's (Reprise) >> A Day in the Life
  11. That's an old nickname my dad used to have for me. :-)
  12. Those two 1995 shows at First Avenue in Minneapolis are a lot of fun to hear. http://sooutoftune.org/concerts/492 http://sooutoftune.org/concerts/494
  13. Keep an eye out as well for the new version of "I Got You" they're recording for the Judd Apatow film. Out next month. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/wilco-this-40-judd-apatow-383991
  14. 2003 Wilco *WAS* Jeff, John, Leroy, Glenn and Mikael. And on occasion, Mr. O'Rourke and/or Mr. McCaughey. 2004 Wilco was the same as present Wilco (in membership). For recommendations on recordings, read this thread: http://viachicago.or...he-laptop-era/.
