Finally downloaded and worked my way through this yesterday. Great photos and a nice live recording of "One Sunday Morning." that video of Wilco, Mavis Staples and Nick Lowe rehearsing "The Weight" is nice too, although it seems like it's the first time Nick Lowe has ever sung it. I'm hoping there are more live tracks coming soon; the band sounds so good.

Who cares if people like it -- what difference does it make to you? It certainly doesn't bother me if someone likes the ad.

I'll forgo posting the album cover, which might offend some people, and just say that I listened to The Rolling Stones' "Brussels Affair" live record. It's a good set.

Agreed!

I'm gonna add the new record by The Walkmen to my list. It's superb.

Ugh. Those German takes on The Beatles tunes are AWFUL.

Yeah, buddy.

I'm sure they consulted a translator. Translated lyrics often end up sounding strange because the cadence, rhythm, rhyming, etc., doesn't work.

Also referenced in this thread. I wonder how many takes it took Tweedy to nail the vocal.

I actually enjoyed this version quite a bit. I wonder how many takes it took for Tweedy to nail the vocals in Spanish.

“Keeping this in mind, we chose to announce the newest version of the phone by creating a unique rendition of Wilco’s hit love song. The final TV spot is powerful and strikes a chord artistically and from a product-feature standpoint.” Hit love song. Heh. Clearly not Wilco performing.

Per the Wilco Facebook page, the band played an acoustic set at Revolver Records in Barcelona to about 60 people. Wow. http://cultura.elpais.com/cultura/2012/06/01/actualidad/1338555708_747851.html
