  1. I do not think that website is what you think it is.
  2. At $99 a pop, the Owl iPhone case, while cool, is entirely more than I'm willing to pay for a case. http://wilco.kungfustore.com/products/3725-owl-iphone-case-by-twig-wil590
  3. Yeah, what's the deal with that anyway? The Stones are great.
  4. A setlist from a show on a tour supporting a new album featuring new tunes is disappointing? Your expectations should be altered.
  5. You're absolutely right; most of the time, fans aren't on the field during games. I've been to a lot of games and have only seen a few streakers. But you could try calling the venue, as I suggested, and get an answer straight from them rather than hope for one here.
  6. Did you look on the venue website? That's usually a good place to start: http://www.kccougars.com/stadiumrulres.html. The FAQs might be helpful too. Or just calling them and asking.
  7. I prefer Let's Not Get Carried Away to Let's Hear it For Rock.
  8. The first thing that came to mind when I thought of a band called WoolFolk was a bunch of Wookies playing banjos.
  9. That's some funny sh*t right there. I think, no, it's my opinion that, wait...I believe the eloquent, respectful wording of your opinion is well-crafted and a model for all posts on an Internet forum. I applaud you for your exemplary work.
  10. I'll take it over Leave Me Like You Found Me!
  11. I figured as much, but thank you for indulging me. I actually prefer the sound of SBS to WTA; I like the 1970s vibe to it, reminds me of a lot of music my dad used to play when I was growing up. I also think SBS would have been enhanced greatly with the inclusion of The Thanks I Get and Let's Not Get Carried Away, maybe even Glad It's Over, as official album tracks. But that's like, my opinion, man...
  12. I'm just curious -- can you explain to me what "wooly and claustrophobic" means when describing music?
  13. I was hoping this thread would be about Wilco music I have not yet heard.
  14. With that setlist, I'm having a hard time seeing several of the four-minute songs that were doubled in length by extended jams. Perhaps "Hoodoo Voodo" with a guitar duel, but I've seen Wilco play that before, and it was nowhere near eight minutes. The reviewer gets raked over the coals in the comments, though...although I doubt one of the commenters heard a "12-minute version of 'War on War'" before.
  15. They were doing photo contests before Solid Sound. I'd say there might still be one coming...
  16. Reminds me of the Kansas City show back in December of last year. During "Someday Soon" this fellow in front of us turned to his wife and says, "I think this is a cover, but it sounds like they're just jamming..."
  17. Love it. Saw this yesterday. It was great!
