Giving this a try:

Eventually I'd like to follow through on a plan I made a while ago to record myself playing Wilco tunes and post a video for each song on a blog. I learn songs 99% by ear. The other 1% is from watching video footage of someone playing it, which helps me fix chord positions, notes, etc. if I'm a little bit off. I've got the tools, it's just a matter of making the time to do it. Someday. Someday soon.

I still love Kicking Television. It was my first introduction to live Wilco and one of the first Wilco albums I ever purchased. I just listened to my vinyl KT box set this past weekend and rocked my face off. It's a great snapshot of the band.

Who knows. But if it was, they missed the mark. Spinner had a great start, but I think they've really trailed off in their content. I rarely visit that site anymore. -

This is the type of stuff that I wish they'd put in the liner notes of albums, particularly those deluxe releases. I'd much rather read about the making of the record than have a 52-page book with lyrics, artwork and a few photos. -
I haven't heard anything beyond what you've mentioned and what's been discussed in other threads -- but all I can say is that I'd love to have both. I've been listening to a handful of the Wilco-the-quartet shows from 2001 and the five-piece from 2002-2003. There were some great shows in that YHF tour and some great early versions of AGIB tunes.

Here's a different, dumber take on Zooey's recently uncovered finances: http://www.spinner.com/2012/01/05/zooey-deschanel-net-worth/ -
I'm trying to figure this one out too. Watching the video footage of this song, the one part that's tripping me up is the first fill. The notes you've tabbed here are correct, but the chord shape he's playing is different. I'm trying to get that one down. Then again - I try not to get too caught up in playing the exact right thing all the time. Sometimes our own little licks sound good too.

NPR says they sound like The Strokes, The Buzzcocks, The Jam and Guided By Voices. And one commenter says they sound like Television. What say you?

Two dogs. Well, they're still puppies. Their names are Sargent Pepper and Abbey Road -- Sarge and Abbey for short. I posted a pic of them a while back. Here they are catching a nap this weekend:
