Drove the highway long enough to give WTA one spin, then there was a very brief downpour of rain. I immediately saw a full rainbow. What does this mean for me? Please analyze.

I heard half the album in the record store while purchasing WTA (and browsing). Does this viloate abstination policies?

Delaware had a tremendous amount of housing growth in the late 90's and into the early part of this decade. The number of new roads was minimal and far below what's needed to match the population spurt. The problem may be overcrowded roads, not the drivers themselves. Of course, it is entirely possible that they do actually suck.

The Nationals are puppies. They've never had an 18-year run of winning seasons like the Orioles, who are currently working on an 18-year losing streak. What's happened to my Birds? Oh yeah, Peter Angelos.

UNC is correct. I think her name is Megan and I believe she's plays third, or at least infield.

Perhaps they weren't anticipating entering the autobahn when they crossed the state line.

XM Radio has a tribute channel set up (ch. 62). MJ probably has well over 100 recorded songs and they're basically playing twelve of them.

Vinyl is definitely making a comeback when it comes to my town.

Thank you, Sir Stewart, for the condolences. And thank you, as well, Marino. Please take Isadorah's advice and find the answer you need. Even if your wife learns CPR, it won't help much if you go into arrest. My brother-in-law went into arrest in the E.D. while the doctors and nurses we're trying to stabalize him to keep him from going into arrest. If they can't stop it from happening in the hospital before it happens, your wife's effort may be futile. It's kind of like flipping the power switch off to you house, except it's your body. Once it's off - it's off. There's alot of people here as

Michael Jackson's death has been reported as being Sudden Cardiac Death. This is the same condition that caused the death of my brother-in-law, age 40, three weeks ago. In both cases, each had feeling poorly in the days leading up to their deaths. I believe my brother-in-law may have had at least one heart attack before dying of SCD. It may have been a heart attack that finally caused him to call 911 before he died in the emergency room not two hours later. In the E.D., he was in pain, but alert. Then it was like an internal switch flipped off and he died instantly, despite the overwhelming ef

I'm still holding onto my virtue. Sadly, I had a huge distraction with a death in my family. Musically, however, I kept busy and excited by listening to Lamrod's band's ~ So Called Star ~ new album. Great stuff.

Jersey has the worst drivers. Instead of a ton of laws, it would be more efficient to just have everyone sign a release of liability: "Folks, you're on your own. Good luck!"

It seems like it would make sense to have a box set covering the Reprise years, since that era is long over. The YHF sessions could be a box set all by itself. Perhaps a 10 year anniversary package available in 2012 would make sense. Save everything since YHF for a later set down the road. Of course, I wouldn't mind having it all at once.

Looking for someone to review my album
The High Heat replied to lamradio's topic in Someone Else's Song
So long as you guys keep making albums, I think the rest of us will be happy. In the future, make us pay for it, though. The first one's free, right? You pushers are all the same. Maybe the VC crowd here can muster up a campaign to petition Wilco to let you be their opening act at a SC/NC show. I'd be so there dude! -

Hey Man, I told you about a month ago that I liked your music when I checked out your MySpace page, but now that I've been able to sit with your album ~ I can honestly say I love it. I get to know music in the car and I swear I've listen to this thing twenty times this week (I've done alot of extended driving this week). (Note: It's not unusual for me to play a cd on repeat in the car for a week, but usually it's Wilco, etc. and I don't usually log the miles I've had to this week; so you guys got an extreme extension on play-time.) Unlike many VC members (apparently), I'm not a guitar bitch -

That was the episode that got me hooked on Craig. He later said it was sad he made news for not talking about someone. He's got a memoir about becoming an American citizen coming out in September, and a few years ago he wrote this novel: It's a blend of raunchy humor, philosophy and religion. He's a great writer, and this book gets better as you go. Just read the discussion pages in the back and you will see he is indeed deep and thoughtful.

Thank you. I have a very small vinyl collection, but no player. I do have a a decent-sized cd collection, but the CD/LP combo is a good deal. I'd use the LP as a decoration until I got a player if it weren't for that damned camel.

Thank you. I'm leaning toward the combo vinyl/cd, unless there's some kind of deluxe cd package I find more appealing.

Sweet Lou thought it was funny. Musta reminded him of some well-known, base-tossing manager.

Remember the Belle of the (Base)Ball? Career-ending hip injury kept writers from having to debate his Hall of Fame worthiness. Dude, with all his faults, averaged 103 RBI per season in 12 years.
