  1. I did the AMEX sale for McCartney for Fenway Park a few years back and sat about 15 rows back front center. I guess it depends.
  2. I guess this is legit. The Brewers are into Wilco also... My link
  3. Well, I kept at it like some of you suggested and at 12:41 I was able to snag two for NYC. I guess if they don't post the pre-sale as sold out there must be tickets left. I have carpal tunnel now however...
  4. Struck out in NYC twice. Kind of like David Wright...
  5. Where do you go for the AMEX presale? Ticketmaster?
  6. Right in on NYC after typing in code, then got kicked out and had to type another code again and got nothing. Tried a few more times and gave up. Tried Boston for the hell of it and got right in for seats in front Orchestra row J. I don't get it. How could General Admission sell out so quick and yet get pretty good seats in the limited Wang Center? Oh, well,I shouldn't complain, some folks got nothing.
  7. I had just gotten into Uncle Tupelo and then found out they had broken up. I liked Jeff's singing voice over Jay's but I wasn't sure which was which until I Purchased both AM and Trace and decided on Wilco over Son Volt. That had to be in 95 I would guess. First Wilco show was the Schubert Theater in New Haven in early 2008. Haven't missed one in the Northeast since. Never saw Son Volt. Still don't like Jay's singing voice.
  8. Thanks for posting this. That was pretty cool. You never know what history lies under your feet.

  11. Standing in the pouring rain and not giving a shit because Wilco was playing one of the best shows I've seen them do on Friday night and standing in the mud and not giving a shit watching Wilco give the best show I've seen them play on Saturday night and watching Autumn Defense play in the courtyard Sunday afternoon and not caring if it was going to rain or not...

  14. Busby: Fukushima reactors a raging radioactive inferno
  15. In case anyone still cares... So they finally admit what has been suspected for the past two months. Now, what? Nothing has improved and covering meltdowns with a tarp will do a lot of good... Japan Confirms Complete Core Nuclear Meltdown In 3 Fukushima Reactors Over two months after the earthquake and tsunami hit the Fukushima nuclear power plant, Japan finally admits that a complete core nuclear meltdown has occurred in three of the Fukushima nuclear reactors. The news was followed with a complete press release from TEPCO revealing that the nuclear reactor was damaged from the earthqua

Fukushima Groundwater Contamination Worst in Nuclear History EPA cuts back on atmospheric radiation monitoring as well as the monitoring of fish contamination Greenpeace refused permission to monitor sea water off the coast of Japan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQFTx2k0TfM
  17. This might be worth your time if anyone is interested. This addresses many of your concerns and some precautions you might need to take in the near future. They do mention the lack of monitoring on the part of the government. You won't get this in the mainstream media... 18. Forget it. You just can't win around here. Good luck.
  19. Like I said, show me an article that says something good is going to come of this. Post it. I can handle it. I hope someone does. Wouldn't it be great to get some good news. Of course the government is going to tell you there is nothing to worry about. For the past two months many of their radiation monitoring posts have stopped working. How would you interpret that? A coincidence? The EPA response to the crisis was to raise the limits of allowable radiation in food and water supplies. Why's that? This stuff has already gotten into the food chain here in the United States. If that sounds bad,
  20. I've actually backed off recently. But, mainly for education and information purposes. I'm sure you are aware six nuclear power plants are spewing radiation either into the atmosphere or into the ocean, or both, since March and nothing has been done to curtail it? If so, that's good. If not, now you know. Doesn't that concern you? I've read no articles or seen no reports where this is considered a good thing, excluding Anne Coulter, and I'm sure you all love her viewpoints. We seem to get all bent out of shape over what the new Wilco album is going to sound like but this gets no reaction but c
