  1. I don't think OTJ is such a departure from the previous Wilco catalogue. I hear distant echoes of YHF, ST and AGIB, in particular with the headphones on, as some VCers mentioned. I would love to hear the band playing it in an intimate setting Overall, I think is a great record. It has soothed my soul along the autumn and early winter. Thank you Wilco!
  2. ^agreed, wish I'd never heard that horrific Georgia on my mind.

  4. Just received the Giants box; this time I had to pay about additional $40 in customs...I guess is a thing of POTUS fines against Europe as 0 cents were charged for the NW Pacific box. As a consequence, I will return to illegal d/l. I'm sorry, Dead HQ

It opens, Ode to Joy, with a pe

  9. I am not familiarized with GD beyond 1991...does anybody think there is 1993 material for a box set? Any great shows out there? Thanks

  13. Last week I've bought 2 GD boxes (10 cds) in ebay for $50. also picked some Wilco material. My experience with the ebay folks I purchased from is very positive.
  14. I only listened a few songs but, intrigued by your comment, put particular attention to Donna vocals (I love Donna, by the way; well, maybe except in PITB). I noticed her armonizing in The Wheel was...bad, flat, annoying, you name it.
  15. There's another 2-disc release of Jerry playing within the Good Old Boys that I think is passing rather unnoticed https://bluegrasstoday.com/good-old-boys-live-with-jerry-garcia/
  16. This is strange. I remember seeing as a teen at least some b&w clips of Get Back and maybe also DLMD in the roof 'concert'- I think Billy Preston was at keyboards -in the then only channel of TV in Spain, in Franco dictator times. Don't let me down is among my Lennon favorites. And one of the few Beatle songs I remember the guitar chords, now that I am practicing after a 30-y hiatus
