  1. Right, I forgot about the rain. That's a pretty accurate criticism, especially this past year or so. Lots of peaking not a whole lot of patience
  2. Curious what about that show seemed canned to you. The first three or four songs have some fantastic improv. Rest of the show is pretty standard though.
  3. I had one hell of a year. These are my top ones in no particular order: Umphrey's McGee - 8/8 Hampton Beach, NH Stevie Wonder - 11/9 Washington, DC Wilco - 12/12 Chicago, IL Umphrey's McGee - 10/29 Binghamton, NY Queens of the Stone Age - 7/14 Providence, RI White Denim - 2/26 Cambridge, MA Snarky Puppy - 9/26 Silver Spring, MD King Crimson - 9/12 Philadelphia, PA Rival Sons - 10/4 Silver Spring, MD Nth Power - 11/23 Richmond, VA The Breakfast - 5/10 Providence, RI RAQ - 3/06 Cambridge, MA Billy Cobham Spectrum 40 - 9/11 Washington, DC
  4. I'd be happy to help too. A resource like phantasy tour or all things umphrey's would be a great and fun resource for the wilco community
  5. Dopapod and Tauk in Vienna, VA
  6. I find the lack of whole love songs very surprising. I was under the assumption that at least two or three of those were in the regular rotation
  7. god that was fun. I got my ELT! Albeit an acoustic version, but still! Not much I San say beyond what everybody else has already said. Great night of great music. I don't usually travel for Wilco but I'm very glad I did yesterday.
  8. Oh damn! They're probably not supposed to tell you that haha
  9. Maybe it's too cliche for Jeff but I could see them both starting and ending the run with Via Chicago
  10. I don't know what nth power is doing but they could be another possibility with Nigel being in the family
  11. Tuna was fantastic. I've been a big fan of Larry and Teresa since swing them at Solid Sound with Levon. Played two sets and I had a great time. As for TTB opener, I could definitely see kraz in some capacity
  12. My brother was supposed to go to this but has the flu. Should be great. I'm interested to see who the surprise opener is
  13. That's a nice looking setlist but godfuckingdamnit they played ELT again and I missed BOTH of them!! Looking forward to tomorrow!
  14. Yeeah.. Could only make one night and chose that one. Oh well! I thoroughly enjoyed pretty much every classic rock cover (especially And Your Bird Can Sing x2)
  15. One of my other favorite bands has done it and I thought it was awesome, but I just didn't enjoy the selection of Wilco's cover set. Probably largely because Wilco is really the only band towards this scene of music that I listen to, so all but about 6-7 of the songs were entirely lost on me. Left that show more let down than almost any other concert experience I had ever had. Went it totally expecting an awesome show of rare Wilco songs per request though
  16. Agreed. I honestly thought that solid sound covers set was a huge letdown
  17. Ticket purchased. Should be fun!
  18. ^ I'm with you on the acoustic show. If I want an acoustic Wilco show I go see Jeff...
  19. I'm also curious about that. Seems like very little when I read through the sets...
  20. Thinking about hitting up Hot Tuna at the Sixth and I Synagogue in DC
  21. If setlist.fm is correct looks like tonight got my Friday night ELT... Oh well, I'll keep stuffing the ballot box and maybe they'll do it again
  22. Do you only get one presage code per tour? Like if I subscribed and bought a pair to msg could I still get a pair whenever they announce dc (probably next leg)?
  23. I believe you have to contact the member. Probably via private message
  24. eBay or expressobeans are usually the way to go for aftermarket posters Eta: it appears there's one for sale on expressobeans but it's asking $150
