Just added the Keene Brothers to my wishlist. How exciting that there is a good Pollard album that I have not checked out! Really enjoying this thread. I love Pollard but just can't keep up with his output so I love these rankings. Helps me to know which ones I should check out next.

From what I can see it looks like a real beauty! My next acoustic is going to be a Martin so I would also love to see some others as well. Enjoy it!

Speaking of Cheap Trick, they are on the tonight show on 9/1. And I agree the Steve Albini "In Color" sounds really good. Anybody heard this at all?

Dylan stopped by cops in New Jersey. HAHA

Now that makes a lot of sense. I did read chronicles and you are right, that sense of wonder about some of his influences was still there. -
Nice! Really digging company in my back! The throat clearing was a nice touch. How about posting some tabs.

Well hell yeah, I feel that way. But I'm not Bob Dylan! -
This is as exiting to me as the Beatles Mono box!

For some reason I find it very odd that Dylan is interested in visiting these boyhood homes and other places. I mean, I'm sure he could call Neil Young or Bruce Springsteen on the phone any time he wanted. Maybe like many of us he is seeing if he can gleen some sort of idea on what inspires and creates other artists. Nature vs. Nurture, all that stuff. I just don't expect a living legend that rubs elbows or has rubbed elbows (in the case of Lennon) to do that sort of thing. I would think to him more than most, these are just people and not really "Idols". -
I didn't even know Tower existed as any kind of entity any more.

To think Liv Tyler was spawned from that. What, he can't sing with a broken shoulder?

Yes, this is the first time I have seen it, loved it.

Really, really enjoying this.

So you do notice a pretty big difference being able to run your amp at 8 or 9? I going for it, thanks for the link.

Oops, your absolutely correct. Guess I better dust that one off as it's been awhile and I'm mixing up songs.

Oh man, our band played "I know you Rider", "Wharf Rat", and "Fire on the Mountain" tonight. Our first attempt at GD and it was a blast! Sounded quite good if I don't say so myself. I'm still pumped.

I have said it before but still my favorite Floyd Album. Some of the best lyrics ever.

I never actually heard that. I know "Corduroy" by Pearl Jam and "Heavy and Hanging" by Patterson Hood are supposed to be about Cobain.

Wow, $10, the price is right!
