If the warp or warps are not too bad, this method worked for me (on a Melvins record that had the cartridge jump off the record in a couple spots): Take a half dozen or more 12" x 12" floor tiles and put them on the record against the floor. I left it like that for at least six months and it worked out well. Well enough to play sounding fine.

Most 7" are $8 now. I remember when they were 2-3 bucks.

yeah but then 2014 is an outlier of a dozen year stretch... there are plenty of bands that i like who only kick into the touring grind every 3-4 years, and it's not a given that they'll play Boston.

not that strong as last year, that's for sure. some that are hitting the spot: Hospitality - Trouble Mogwai - Rave Tapes Real Estate - Atlas Agalloch - The Serpent and the Sphere Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell - Check 'em Before You Wreck 'em Sleaford Mods - Divide and Exit Warpaint - S/T and at least one of the GBV records...still have to put more time into them. i'm sure there are more I'm missing (and OM is due for a new one later in the Fall). edit - spurred by WRP's post, i forgot the excellent English Oceans as the Angel Olsen record. that's pretty good.
