most of their singles from the bends onwards enter into the uk charts, maybe not always top 10, but there abouts so, as far as that type of music goes, they are hits. not that this makes the greatest hits thing worthwhile, but no less worthwhile than if the songs had all gone to no.1

what you heard was simply fat-dog flatulence, which your fat-dog loving mind took to be those self-pitying words. don't feel sorry for it, feel sorry for the owners that have to pick it up and put it back inside at night again! that thing needs to be burst, or hidden away in a cupboard so i don't have to see it again.

If you don't have any of their other albums then I'd suggest these, in this order: Nixon Damaged Is A Woman What Another Man Spills Their other stuff is good too, but those are really good - definately better than How I Quit Smoking, although that is a good one too.

I thought it was going to be this when i clicked. I was very disappointed. Because I voted for Mitt Romney in that viachicago poll, I'd like to see him cover this song and show those obamarites how it's really done. why? the water isn't going to be as hot as a kettle when boiled, so it's still going to take a while for the water to heat up, just as it would if you used the cold tap. did you think that the hot water is pumped directly into your house then? as opposed to sitting in a tank and heating up (and apparently collecting lead traces etc...)

warning people about not drinking hot water out the taps is a bit like telling people to not lick windows on the short bus - those people most likely to do that sort of thing aren't going to listen to warnings. why would anyone who has a choice do this?

how do you stop it being a 'fake encore' and turn it into 'a break'? if you turn the house lights on people will start to leave. if you walk off, and leave the lights off, people will say it's a fake encore. i think all bands should not play more than one and a half hours in total anyway, unless it's their final gig before retirement (fake retirement, probably). how to get round taking a break without people thinking it's an encore could be sorted by putting the fact on the tickets - obviously this would mean the audience would have to restrain themselves from clapping in the gap - but, then s

I got my copy on Monday from Rough Trade, but it didn't play on my main cd player. It did play on my computer and also on my walkman cd thingy. I am annoyed! I sent it back so that hopefully the next one they send will work. (I did burn a copy, of course - so I can still listen to it) Which I will be doing in a bit.
