I didn't like Grizzly Man much at all, however, I think Werner Herzog is probably the most interesting man alive, so I am very very biased about this. Here's a list of films by him that I think you should see next: 01. The Engima Of Kaspar Hauser It also stars Bruno S. who, himself, is almost as much of an enigma as Kaspar Hauser. 02. Stroszek Again, staring Bruno S. and containing the strangest ending in film history. 03. Fata Morgana This is Herzog's attempt to film mirages in the desert, amongst other weird imagery. It was supposed to be a science-fiction film, and is set to the Ma

I used to read Shoreditch Twat when and where I could find it. That was always fun to read. -
Wow, what an incredible site! There's a good few bands I've been wanting to hear and now can. NP. Appaloosa - Appaloosa

What a great album. NP. Japanese folk from the early 1970's; is there anything better in life?

If you haven't got the second album either, and you can only get one, I'd go for the second. If you've got the money, though, go for both. NP.

Yeah, I've got it already on dvd as a bootleg (both concerts). It would be nice to have a good quality version of it though.

I opened up my copy of De La Soul's 3 Feet High and Rising album once and looked at the cd, and it looked like someone had poured acid all over it, so I had to throw it away (very weird that). Also, someone stole my copy of De La Soul Is Dead from my old work place. I haven't replaced either yet, although I do have Buhloone Mindstate cos nothing has as yet happened to that, so leave Occam's razor in the bathroom cabinet - in the world of cd having and not having, anything is possible!

Don't be too hasty to jump to those sorts of conclusions. You've ignored theft, arson, faulty cd . . . I could go on . . . there could be an interesting story lurking here.

I don't think it's ever been released in the UK yet, which is weird. I agree though, it's a bit pointless, unless the second disc is going to have a lot of footage on it. Personally I think they should extend the bootleg series to include dvd footage too, it's about time Hard Rain or some kind of Rolling Thunder Revue dvd came out (that doesn't mean Ronaldo And Clara - which would be a bad idea). There must be loads of other concert footage floating about from the 1980's and 1990's too, or even some more recent stuff would be great - I'll be pissed if they choose to cover something else from t

I wonder what the other disc has got on it? Maybe those outtakes that were leaked a while back. This reminds me that I forgot to say Eat The Document as a great music doc. I much prefer it to Don't Look Back which I find a little hard to watch at times, because, to me, Dylan acts like a tosser in it pretty much most of the time.

I can't think of anyone apart from Larry David that is so funny on, the one hand, and yet so clever and original, on the other; not even The Office or Alan Partridge is quite in the same league, for me anyway. His use and misuse of the English language is unbelievable. I'm going to check out some more clips now I think.

I totally forgot about Shatner's Bassoon, that's a bit of the brain that deals with time perception - that is the thing that get's messed up by Cake Cool Thwacksen Charlie You've got to have some real balls to go and do this in London to some drug dealers:

One disc are covers by the likes of Flaming Lips, Beck, Mercury Rev, Eels etc.. and the other side is the same songs by Johnston. It's a good way to get into him I guess. If not that then this is brilliant:

^ I might check that out just because the cover is so funny

It's a great album. You've got Second Guessing too I presume? Have you heard the Howlin' Rain album yet? (If I think of any more questions I want to ask you I'll post them in a bit) Cheers about the name change - it was either that or Hattie Jacques Pretentious Cheese Wog, Rustledust or Loonytoad quack.

randy newman is probably rated highly enough, but not enough people listen to his music in my opinion (not enough being not everyone)

Haven't got any of those posters, but my compliments on the avatar. I can't believe Kenickie actually made it to Arizona!

Yeah, it is very vintage sounding. I think that the actual songs are very strong this time too, on the last album they seemed to be a bit too throw-away a lot of the time, and on the one before that they seemed to be a bit too serious - this album is somewhere inbetween the two.

What do you think? I personally think it's the best they've done by some way. NP> Elvis Perkins - Ash Wednesday

Don't worry, I have done already. But, apparently he's got to run it by Steven and Harrison before he thinks it's worthy of a responce or not, though. However, if he doesn't reply in quite the way I hoped in my mind back when I wrote it, I'm going to send him it again with some pointless embellishments and call it my special edition complaint, and leave the stamp off - after he's paid for ostensibly reading the same letter twice, he'll see my point. Then, just to top it off, I'll send it to him again without the changes. That's my plan, anyway.
