  10. The Portland State Theater site says that the on sale is Fri. 2/4 at 10am. Reserved $35 seating... My guess is there there will be a presale beforehand. Info came from: http://www.statetheatreportland.com/event/28165/

  12. the latest wilco tweet says, "Solid Sound 2011 Earlyworm tickets on sale this morning now." i always thought it was ''early bird'' someone help me out here... doesn't the early worm get eaten?!
  13. i'd like to formally retract my negative review of 'kiss each other clean'. it took a handful of listens, but i'm now really digging it. i've learned a valuable lesson.

  15. the low anthem just announced that they are opening a bunch of shows on this tour. http://www.lowanthem.com/tour.php
  16. is it fair to assume that the wilco shows will fall on friday and saturday, and jeff would play solo on sunday? i'm incredibly excited for SSF2, and plan on buying tickets on friday. i wish they'd announce a few additional bands-- it seems a bit strange to begin selling tickets to a festival without announcing any accompanying bands. then again, most of us will be attending regardless
  17. i'm totally unimpressed. i'm no longer feeling guilty about getting rid of my radio city tix... the last i saw i&w was in 2005. he played a great deal from 'our endless numbered days', which i think is his best to date. i wasn't crazy about 'the shepherd's dog' when it first came out, maybe the latest release will grow on me as that album has.
  18. i was 3rd center on the far left... wonderful setlist, and really a fantastic end to what was a great visit to boulder. this experience should hold me over until solid sound :)
  19. my first time in boulder, and i've got to say-- i really like this place. downtown is pretty fantastic. i thought the show last night was okay... coming off of the high that was bowery ballroom, it's tough to compare to the two. i thought the setlist was solid, but i was really distracted by the crowd. i've never seen a crowd go for so many beer runs. it's safe to say that everyone in my immediate peripheral was more interested in drinking then they were the show. as mentioned, the banter was pretty hysterical, and jeff seemed to be in a great mood. my favorite went something like: "you guys
  20. bands i'd like to see at SSF2: the low anthem, blitzen trapper, the papercuts, horsefeathers, dr. dog
  21. was just googling fred armisen, and stumbled upon this interview he did with jeff. not sure if it's been posted before, but here it is: http://www.myspace.com/video/vid/3425517
  22. do you think that they will wait until 1/18 to begin to announce supporting acts?
