  1. section D looks to be the third section from the bottom on that page. looks to be the middle section after the pit up front. for what its worth-- that is the worst seating chart of all time. why wouldn't they have a diagram of the floor plan? i think this may be more helpful: http://intl.ticketseating.com/maps/450w/3144-mortensen-hall-bushnell-theatre-end-stage.jpg
  2. regardless of whether or not it says sold out, keep refreshing. often times people time-out or there is some sort of complication and the tickets become available again. I just saw another boston pair show up. good luck
  3. just got left center row KK for boston. I think i had better seats but accidentally clicked refresh and had to go in again. OOPS! Either way, the venue starts with row DD so this is about 8 rows how did all other boston folks do?
  4. woo! i'll be logging on at 10am to try and score tickets for the Orpheum, Boston. The venue is a dump, but small/intimate nonetheless. can't wait!
  5. So I got the tour poster framed with my Lowell and Portland tickets from the summer tour. Just picked it up this evening and wanted to share. Here is an older one I had done for a Tom Petty show I saw in Los Angeles in 2002 I'm really happy with the new Wilco one. These posters are pretty incredible and look nice with the tickets mounted with them. They look nicer on a white wall but this will do for now Mods-- if this thread doesn't belong here you may move it or I can delete it. Enjoy!
  6. the title of this thread is a tease.
  7. no east coast dates bummer!
  8. Aside from the Seagull S6, do you have any specific models for me to check out. This will be my first guitar purchase, so I'd prefer to stick to the $300 range! Thanks for the input.
  9. Is it likely that they will be focusing on cities they didn't hit with this first leg of the tour, or they will be returning to some areas for round two? (i'm down for some more new england shows!)
  10. I'm about to purchase my first guitar (I've got a $3-400ish budget) and am thinking of the Yamaha FG730s. Anyone here ever play one? http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Yamaha-FG730S-Solid-Top-Acoustic-Guitar?sku=519049
  11. Any speculation as far as the Fall tour is concerned?
  12. I don't know the setlist verbatim, but I do know they played 13 songs. I can recall most, just not in the correct order: Die in Hospital, Moab, Ten Woman, Big Black Nothing, Nikorette, Snake Hill, Slowly, Danny Callahan, Souled Out, NYC-Gone, Cape Canaveral and maybe Air Mattress.... I'm missing one, cant recall what it is.. TBH, I'm surprised I remember all of others! Hope this helps.
  13. The song seems VERY Traveling Wilburys to me... which certainly isn't a bad thing, merely an observation.
  14. I wrote up a lengthy review, and then accidently clicked the escape button, which apparently erases everything. So, I think I'll just do some bullets: -I got there about 3 hrs early to get in line to secure a decent spot. My father and I ended up meeting some really nice people and struck up good conversation that helped the time pass in an unusually quick manner. -A bit flustered when the gates opened, we ended up on the under twenty-one side. I can't say I care for this type of crowd separation as the crowd dynamic is a bit strange. It seemed to me that the people on our side were more inter

I'm wondering the same thing... I'd really like one as a momento of my first Wilco show. Will they sell them at other shows on the tour? If not, I just have to hope they pop up online!
  17. Hope the weather holds out. Weather.com says isolated t-storms and rain all day... After lowell I'm not sure I can handle another rainy show.
  18. does anyone have any information about the maine state pier? i'm trying to find info regarding the layout, capacity, parking etc... any help is greatly appreciated!
  19. Just a heads up--- saw a single on craigslist this morning. I got a pair off of there yesterday... it seems to be your best bet. Good luck!

wow-- This post is so laden with ignorant speculation (Taylor Hollingsworth being doped up on H or blow) that I feel inclined to comment. I can understand your dislike of Oberst's voice, but to site his lyrics as 'absolutely horrible' seems a bit unjust. I'm thinking you must have been either high/drunk, or I may even bet on some H or Blow because you obviously were not listening. I'd go ahead and check out some of the man's lyrics before criticizing. I’d find it a bit confusing if you confessed to love Tweedy’s lyrics while at the same time finding Oberst’s to be such rubbish… Just my .02…
  22. Anyone have 2 for sale? Any idea how many were sold, seems impossible to find a pair! Any help is greatly appreciated!!

This was my first Wilco show, and it proved to be worth the wait. My father and I were front row and truly enjoyed ourselves. Conor’s set was wonderful, he played 14 songs, all of which were planned (for those who were wondering whether or not the final song was spontaneous). The man has unbelievable stage presence despite the lack of enthusiasm from the floor crowd. Though, I don’t think that venue really lends itself to his intimate performance… Wilco were wonderful. My father had never heard them before and left the show in complete awe. He went to the record shop this morning and purcha
