what did u think of that show? i wasn't all that impressed... deerhunter are a much better studio band, and i felt like spoon weren't all that memorable. britt has a great stage presence though-- but it felt like he was more or less going through the motions.

it's good, but not as good as Fate.

Getting very excited! I'll be 7 rows back on the left!

I think it's a matter of finding a program that basically records whatever is going through your soundcard. Many of the free programs have time limitations, meaning one couldn't record the entire set due to only having the trial version. I'm not going to be at my computer, nor am I tech savvy enough to begin to figure out how to do it. This is my only idea... Is the likelihood of WILCO putting it up for download is pretty small? I know they've done this before and recordings haven't surfaced... as far as I'm aware. Anyway, excited to be there!!!

Is it possible to record the feed? I'll be at the show-- but it would be nice to have the soundboard recording! So excited!

37?! THIRTY-SEVEN?!

my god. i cannot wait for boston.
-
omg. can't wait for boston. that acoustic set looks incredible!!

as much as i love wilco, and love vinyl, i can't see paying $70 for these lps. also, i hate flipping a record after just a few tracks. to listen to all lps would require 8 total trips to the turntable-- that is like 6 trips too many. i'l sacrifice sound quality and listen to the cds.

thanks for sharing gewee. how long did he play for? wish I could have been there!
-
just wondering-- any boston concert-goers get there tickets yet? i ordered when they went on sale on 01/06/10. show is a month away, still time before i panic!

good stuff! just checked out lauren's channel-- this original is incredible:

Was there an opener? I'm going to the Boston show and have yet to find any info regarding opening act. That is a good looking setlist, can't wait to see them again!
-
section D looks to be the third section from the bottom on that page. looks to be the middle section after the pit up front. for what its worth-- that is the worst seating chart of all time. why wouldn't they have a diagram of the floor plan? i think this may be more helpful: http://intl.ticketseating.com/maps/450w/3144-mortensen-hall-bushnell-theatre-end-stage.jpg

regardless of whether or not it says sold out, keep refreshing. often times people time-out or there is some sort of complication and the tickets become available again. I just saw another boston pair show up. good luck
-
just got left center row KK for boston. I think i had better seats but accidentally clicked refresh and had to go in again. OOPS! Either way, the venue starts with row DD so this is about 8 rows how did all other boston folks do?
-
woo! i'll be logging on at 10am to try and score tickets for the Orpheum, Boston. The venue is a dump, but small/intimate nonetheless. can't wait!

So I got the tour poster framed with my Lowell and Portland tickets from the summer tour. Just picked it up this evening and wanted to share. Here is an older one I had done for a Tom Petty show I saw in Los Angeles in 2002 I'm really happy with the new Wilco one. These posters are pretty incredible and look nice with the tickets mounted with them. They look nicer on a white wall but this will do for now Mods-- if this thread doesn't belong here you may move it or I can delete it. Enjoy!

Suggestions for a new acoustic
knotgreen replied to BigWheeledWagon's topic in Solid State Technology
Aside from the Seagull S6, do you have any specific models for me to check out. This will be my first guitar purchase, so I'd prefer to stick to the $300 range! Thanks for the input. -
Is it likely that they will be focusing on cities they didn't hit with this first leg of the tour, or they will be returning to some areas for round two? (i'm down for some more new england shows!)

Suggestions for a new acoustic

I'm about to purchase my first guitar (I've got a $3-400ish budget) and am thinking of the Yamaha FG730s. Anyone here ever play one? http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Yamaha-FG730S-Solid-Top-Acoustic-Guitar?sku=519049 -
Any speculation as far as the Fall tour is concerned?

I don't know the setlist verbatim, but I do know they played 13 songs. I can recall most, just not in the correct order: Die in Hospital, Moab, Ten Woman, Big Black Nothing, Nikorette, Snake Hill, Slowly, Danny Callahan, Souled Out, NYC-Gone, Cape Canaveral and maybe Air Mattress.... I'm missing one, cant recall what it is.. TBH, I'm surprised I remember all of others! Hope this helps.
