when a band like phish headlines their own festival, they play two full sets a day, each day of the festival... at least.. and louie b, if your comment was directed at me, you're misreading. i'm not bitching, just saying i think at least 2 wilco performances would be more appropriate than the 1+ solo acts. whatever, change of subject... should be wonderful, i've never been to mass moca before, and appreciate any excuse to hang out in western massachusetts!

i'm well aware, but i didn't pay for this service. instead, i paid for what i thought was going to be a weekend of wilco. for the record- i'm stoked to be going.... i'm just saying....

personally-- i think it's pretty weak to advertise a wilco festival, and then the band plays only 1 set. aside from seeing tweedy solo, the side projects don't really do anything for me. i suppose some of the other bands will be entertaining, but i'd trade it all for three days of wilco.

for the record, the site now lists "jeff tweedy solo" which makes me SO VERY happy. hmmm... should probably book a hotel sooner or later.

bummer-- just catching the tail end. i'm the man who loves you, followed by kicking television. sounds good, though... wish i tuned in for the rest!

one performance is pretty weak, as far as i'm concerned. it's a three day festival, where they are the main attraction. i'll trade all side projects for 2 headlining sets. just my $.02.

i'm still waiting, then i'll be trying to do the same! thank you for mentioning this earlier. that forum mentioned has proved to be super informative.

to reply to my own post, if anyone is wondering: during the boston show Tweedy said something along the lines of: "all of our side projects are going to play." So, I'm hoping that by use of "our" he is implying that he too will be playing a set that is not formally a Wilco set? Maybe i should just stop thinking about this...

I'm going to put a bid in, thought it feels a bit early, seems like I'm most likely to get a deal closer to the date.
