  1. Oh really. I must see it. (I made up for acquiring all the episodes and specials a few years ago - I bought all the dvds.) Still no Caroline Quentin? That's a shame. It's on Youtube. I will save it for Sunday morning. Alan had a show not too long ago called Whites. It got canceled.
  2. That is good to know. I still use a dumbphone, so I don't know anything about apps.
  3. You can get Grateful Dead soundboards by way of bt.etree.org. Of course, you can stream them by way of Archive.org.
  4. Jerry Garcia Gear Up For Auction Ramrod's family sold a bunch of stuff a few years back also.
  5. That was when Healy was in charge of the vault releases. I read online the other day that he recently sold some of Jerry's pedals.
  6. I want to say I read or David said somewhere that all of those were going to be available again. But - I may be wrong about that. Dave's Picks Volume 6 is available for pre-order: Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco, CA 12/20/69 and Fox Theater, St. Louis, MO 2/2/70. I hope some of those are still available on Monday. I can't order it until then.
  7. That was on an episode of Eight Is Enough.
  8. I didn't look that close. I suppose that may be something to check out.
  9. Rolling Stone has did a number of those sort of issues. There is also a Dylan issue out right now. What they do is take interviews, articles, reviews, and photos from past issues about a certain band/subject (guitar players) and stick them all together in one issue. I looked at the GD issue the other day. I suppose if it didn't cost so much I may have bought it. It didn't seem like something I really needed though.
  10. Hooray, We're Done (The Inside Story Behind R.E.M.'s Disbandment) An excerpt from Tony Fletcher's third version of his R.E.M. book - now titled Perfect Circle.
  11. They must be making shows just for BBC America. I have not really watched any of those other shows in recent years. Except - Doc Martin - which I rather like. I am glad there is not an American version of Doctor Who. One is enough.
  12. Yes - there are commercials. Sometimes, lots of them. I didn't get to see the episode. I was out and about. I think there was a show on after Doctor Who called Ripper Street. Now it is a show called Orphan Black. I think they should run the Dave Allen Show and Benny Hill. Ha Ha Ha
  13. I didn't think much of The Bells of Saint John either. We get to see The Rings of Akhaten tonight. I'm up to Snakedance (1983) in my efforts to watch all the episodes.
  14. That's interesting that you mentioned the 66 bootleg - as I played it next. I really like the acoustic stuff on there.
  15. I recently bought all the Dylan albums that I have never owned. One of them being Before The Flood. They must have been on the cocaine for those shows.
  16. That makes me think of some of the headlines about the passing of Tony Sheridan a while back that referred to him as the "Beatles frontman".
  17. I have one of those Unauthorized Rock N Roll comic books about The Doors. One of the panels shows Jim in a gym lifting weights. Pretty funny. I think the premise was someone told him he was fat and needed to go to the gym.
  18. Speaking of interviews, an Interview with Charlie (not many of those around, I wouldn't think): Charlie Watts Glastonbury? I don't want to do it.
  19. According to Billboard, Mick Taylor is going to be playing with the band on the new tour. That should be interesting.
  20. I think the shows are in Europe.
  21. They had some band opening for them not too many years ago. I can't remember the name of the band. That might have been the last time they did that.
  22. How long has it been since The Black Crowes toured with another band? They are also going to play some shows with Bruce Springsteen.
  23. Speaking of The Doors - John has a new book coming out called "The Doors: Unhinged ".
