  1. He was in Dickey's band and then went on to play with the Brothers during the Enlightened Rouges/Reach For The Sky/Brothers of The Road era. I think I have Enlightened Rouges on cassette. But I don't have the other two albums. I don't much care for what they were doing on those albums.
  2. He probably means he is going to make a crappy album and have Greg, Michael, and Neal play on it. I wish he would start releasing live shows from 1968-1973. The line-up of Carlos, Greg, David, Michael Shrieve, Michael Carabello, and Chepito are my favorite band in a lot of ways.
  3. Honly Tonk (whole album stream - by way of American Songwriter Magazine)
  4. Looks like Garth is having money problems also: Garth Hudson's Belongings Sold Off at Garage Sale
  5. That's what I'm thinking - we'll see.
  6. I noticed it's on ATO Records (Dave Mathew's label - home to Gov't Mule among other bands).
  7. GarciaLive Series I bet a lot of legal stuff has went down to finally get that going. Road Trips They are back in stock.
  8. I'm watching Nowhere Man (U.S. TV Series 1995-1996) again.
  9. I agree. I got his last album - directly from him in the mail. That was pretty cool.
  10. It looks like they are hanging it up for a second time:
  11. Drummer, Keyboardist bridge gap between two historic bands New interview with Ian, Ron, and Kenny. Not too much new stuff - except this (which is a dam shame):
  12. It may take me a while, but I am going to watch all of those videos. I was watching the one about video making today. It's somewhat amazing that he can just riff on stuff like that for hours on end. Of course, that gets old at some point.
  13. He should have a reality show. I never heard his show, but I always wondered why he bombed when he was chosen to replace Howard Stern on the radio.
  14. You would have - if you had read the book he put out years ago. It was also mentioned in various interviews in the 1980s. A lot of people may not know that he actually worked as a paramedic in NYC back in the mid 2000's.
  15. David Lee Roth has an (ongoing) video show on Youtube? I did not know that. The Roth Show Recent Interview by way of Rolling Stone: David Lee Roth Vents about Van Halen's Future
  16. You can't go wrong with trains. Tears of Change (stream link) I like what I have heard so far. Rolling Stone has the whole song: Hearts and Minds.
  17. It would be cool to check it out - but I wouldn't buy it. I'd be more interested if it had more Allman Brothers demos or a bunch of unreleased live tracks. I don't think all the tracks appear at the link - or I missing them somehow. Hidden Track has a player that seems to display them all.
  18. Duane boxset (legal stream of all the tracks): Skydog: The Duane Allman Retrospective. Some of those Allman Joys/Hour Glass/31st of February tracks are on the Allman Brothers boxset. I think that was the second boxset I ever bought. Some of those songs are pretty cool.
  19. Slow news day? I usually watch Eyes of The World from the GD movie about every Friday evening. That song can take you places. Or at least it takes me places.
  20. Man Outside (1987) You can see Levon, Rick, Richard, and Garth in that film. I think it was the Rambles that brought him back into the spotlight. The reason he started those was due to the fact he was about to lose the place - over lack of money. I think I read somewhere recently that his wife and daughter are still having some money problems.
  21. Track list for the new album - Honky Tonk:
  22. That's interesting. I think the only vines I ever did were on here over ten years ago now.
  23. The sound is better on the Fillmore East 2-70 release though.
