Fleetwood Mac-Mick Fleetwood does not play alone
Analogman replied to worldrecordplayer's topic in Someone Else's Song
I've read there was a time when Judas Priest did the same thing. Also, back in the day, bands such as Aerosmith had keyboard players mostly hidden off to the side of the stage. The worst to me is singers not really singing (live). -
Beatles isolated tracks (for all the nerds)

Don't buy that one (unless you can get it for next to nothing). It was re-released a few years ago. And it is going to be re-released again this year. -
I forgot to order that deal.
-
I'll have to check those shows out - if they appear. I wonder why Audley Freed was not asked to re-join the band? He dropped out of Trigger Hippy also. Maybe he just doesn't want to tour.
-
My first thought was it sounded like an Ozzy song with Tony playing on it. I won't be buying it.
-
It looks like these shows were something to see:
-
That list is missing: 07/21 - Saratoga Springs, NY

I'm trying to find some video of Heart's performances. They played with several of the original dudes on their first song of the evening.
-
Those parts were added in - when dvds of the documentary came out. I never bought the dvds. I still have the videos I made by way of the original broadcast.

Report from last night:
-
I've always liked that version of Dire Wolf with Bob singing lead. And Jerry on the pedal steel.
-
I agree. I recall reading somewhere that those tapes were found after the work was finished on Aoxomoxoa for the boxset. So they went back and added those on as bonus tracks.
-
I see - it was through the dead website. Speaking of that boxset, this is some great stuff:
-
I bought that boxset in a record store - way back when it came out. That's the first I have heard of such a bonus disc.
-
It's been a while since I listened to Birth of The Dead - but I recall Jerry's tone is pretty cool. Ladies and Gentlemen - as I have said before - the solo in Loser is one of my favorite Jerry solos.
-
I've always wondered if there were differences between the two releases. I never looked it up before. Birth of The Dead Rare Cuts and Oddities 1966 (I don't own this one. The release got by me somehow.)

I found that show by watching a show called Kingdom on Hulu. -

Oh really. I must see it. (I made up for acquiring all the episodes and specials a few years ago - I bought all the dvds.) Still no Caroline Quentin? That's a shame. It's on Youtube. I will save it for Sunday morning. Alan had a show not too long ago called Whites. It got canceled. -
That is good to know. I still use a dumbphone, so I don't know anything about apps.
-
You can get Grateful Dead soundboards by way of bt.etree.org. Of course, you can stream them by way of Archive.org.
-
Jerry Garcia Gear Up For Auction Ramrod's family sold a bunch of stuff a few years back also.
-
That was when Healy was in charge of the vault releases. I read online the other day that he recently sold some of Jerry's pedals.
-
I want to say I read or David said somewhere that all of those were going to be available again. But - I may be wrong about that. Dave's Picks Volume 6 is available for pre-order: Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco, CA 12/20/69 and Fox Theater, St. Louis, MO 2/2/70. I hope some of those are still available on Monday. I can't order it until then.

That was on an episode of Eight Is Enough.

This is the new guy:
