  1. I began reading his books when I was about ten years old. Dandelion Wine may still be my favorite book of his. This is a good interview: This is a great book to read if you want to know about his life: Bradbury Chronicles: The Life of Ray Bradbury
  2. I have not listened to New Earth Mud or This Magnificent Distance in a long time. I figure I'll get the new one - along with Rich's album, and the Trigger Hippy Album.
  3. That's what I was thinking. I bet it's some sort of story song.
  4. I read something the other day about a 14 minute song about the Titanic that is suppose to be on the new album.
  5. Doug Dillard also recently passed away.
  6. If you go to the first page of this thread, you will find links to all the GD threads. The threads get locked once they hit 1,000 posts. I have not grabbed the show yet, but Bob, Chris Robinson, and Jackie did an acoustic version of Dark Star the other day. There's a new post up at the Grateful Dead Guide blog. It's about Led Zeppelin and The Who. I sort of skimmed through it.
  7. I use to watch it online, but I have not seen the show in a long time. Somewhere In Time was the last album that I bought/listened to.
  8. I think they are doing another tour based around one of their old albums again. At least, I seem to recall reading that somewhere.
  9. That post makes me think of a dude in art class who drew that album cover.
  10. My first thought is the song sounds like something off of Pump. I think it's great if they make a new album that is not all power ballads, and they have success with it - just as KISS and Van Halen have done. But - it's not something I would buy.
  11. The shows from England (May 1972) are being streamed over at Dead.net. The Stranger (Two Souls In Communion) is a heavy song indeed. The Playing In The Band from May 23rd has great playing from Jerry.
  12. If you print all the articles from that blog - it comes out to over 700 pages. Two shows I am listening to this evening: Grateful Dead Live at The Eureka Municipal Auditorium on 1968-01-20 Grateful Dead Live at Fox Theatre on 1972-10-18
  13. That is true - they allow filming. I can't think of another band that allows that.
  14. There was also a skit where Mick played Steven Tyler: So You Think You Can Dance At A Music Festival?
  15. I can't say I care much for that drummer.
  16. Amazon.com does seem to have all the Dylan cds I don't have for a good price. Speaking of Dylan albums, the word is that he has a new one finished.
  17. I noticed she was there. Which is odd, as he has been touring with other people the last couple of years.
  18. Here's the blues song - Tea Party (with Jeff Beck) I don't care for either one of those bands. It's cool to see Jeff Beck though.
