  1. I think there are earlier versions - from 2000/2001.
  2. The first part may be posted in this thread somewhere. I guess they posted it in January. But - I thought it might be good to have both the links there.
  3. Another multi-page interview with David Lemieux: (part 1) - (part 2).
  4. I was wonderin' if anyone would mention that album.
  5. I think he probably said - Dylan did a Christmas album, Paul did an album of standards, how can I top that? Ah yes, get Crazy Horse together and put out an album containing songs such as Tom Dooley and Get a Job.
  6. Still no official release of Let It Be, but: Yellow Submarine Gets Digital Makeover (from Billboard.com) And some more info by way of Guitarworld:
  7. That would have been cool. Doctor Who and The Silurians - per-cursor to The Hungry Earth. Does anyone recall the Doctor Who movie that was on TV? I think it was in 1996.
  8. Album Cover Art & Track Listing: Americana - Neil Young & Crazy Horse
  9. Yea - the first Doctor was aloof, but sort of mean. The second Doctor seemed a bit wimpy. And the third - more dashing. The Mind Robber is another great episode from the time of the second Doctor.
  10. I've never seen any of the Davidson episodes. I started with Tom Baker (back in the day). I don't know that I care for the 2nd Doctor all that much - but some of those episodes are great. Such as The Celestial Toymaker. Of course, a lot of the episodes are missing. Actually - I probably did see some of the Davidson episodes. But I don't recall any of them. I might when I get up to that point.
  11. I'm up to Spearhead From Space (January 1970). This happens to be the first color episode. And the first with Jon Pertwee as the Doctor.
  12. I'm listening to Two From The Vault - Disc 2 this morning. That brings back memories of where I bought it. A record store that no longer exists. The dude that ran the place carried every GD cd there was - even the Dick's Picks that were out in the stores at the time.
  13. At first, they had them taken down - and then a compromise was made that they would leave them up as streams. The reason they blocked the downloads, was due to the band wanting to sell those shows. Or selling them at some point. I think in recent years the SBDs that have been used in a creating a product have been taken down completely. Of course, you can find them elsewhere as I mentioned.
  14. Md5 files are just text files. The GD has blocked all of their SBD shows from being downloaded at archive.org. You can probably find that show at bt.etree.org. For some unknown reason you can still grab all the SBD shows there.
  15. I wonder how Brad ended up on the tour. From what I have read, Aerosmith are working on a new album. They must be doing it in bits and pieces. Your post made me think of the movie Crossroads.
  16. I was reading about the Long Beach Arena (1972-12-15) show last night. It sounds like that may be a show to check out.
  17. Mick Fleetwood talks about that show in his book (if I recall correctly).
  18. I read he had planned to go - but called off at some point close to the ceremony.
  19. Plus - that bit at the end. The Youngbloods had some great songs.
  20. Oh - me too. I don't even own an iPod. I just find things on Youtube if I want to hear something. Plus - as others have pointed out - there are legal streams these days. I guess for me Uncle Tupelo is the best because that is how I got here. Times change, and people make different music. I guess depending on what your musical preferences are you will think they are great, or you won't. My favorite Wilco albums are the first two, and my favorite Son Volt albums are the first two. So - that is where I am at.
  21. I was wondering the same thing. I figure there will be some video out there.
  22. I see. I always start with a band's first album and then go from there. The way things are these days - you can listen to all of them online before you ever buy them. You know that - of course. They made great music.
