Why is there such disappointment over Wilco(The Album)?Analogman replied to realrival's topic in Just A Fan That's right.

I think he was giving David hell. They hated each other by that point. I have the film on dvd (with the extra stuff), but I have not watched it in a while. I rather like The New Animals version of Paint It Black from that show.

Why is there such disappointment over Wilco(The Album)?Analogman replied to realrival's topic in Just A Fan Mine too - as I have said too many times on here. I was the source for getting that show out to the public. I didn't even know what the heck I was doing then.

I'll check it out. David Crosby's raps (the JFK deal)

Why is there such disappointment over Wilco(The Album)?Analogman replied to realrival's topic in Just A Fan I think there is a least one thread with links in this section of the message board. Do a search on Spiders. Or - you can look up the song at Wilcobase, and look for links at the bottom of the page when you find a show with that song.

Yea - so much for the "spending time with our families" line.

I've always liked them that quite a bit. The box set is great. Buffalo Springfield (box set)
-
I think I read somewhere that he was going to be doing all new songs.
-
Yes, but I would not listen to an Eagles song if they were the last immigrant grocers on Earth. (It's also an Buffalo Springfield out take - it's on the box set.)
-
I saw that the other day. He seems to have a love/hate thing going on with the Rock Hall.
-
The only name I have heard is Adam MacDougall.

For those of you who live in California: The Chris Robinson Brotherhood
-
Exclusive: Buffalo Springfield to Reunite for Fall Tour I hope they do Whatever Happened to Saturday Night?
-
Although I've read about them somewhat, I've never heard those bands. The Grammys must be trying all sorts of things to get people to watch the broadcast.

Maybe well known, famous, or outstanding guitar player is a better term. It's no big deal. When I think of Thin Lizzy, and guitar players, I think of Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham.

There's a whole thread about that clip - you started it sometime ago. I still don't care for it. Anyhow, Gary had a long solo career beyond his time in Thin Lizzy. He also owned Peter Green's Les Paul.

I just saw this posted on another message board: GUITAR ace Gary Moore died on holiday yesterday - choking on his vomit after knocking back champagne and brandy

Old Primitives/UT and early Wilco clips and interviewsAnalogman replied to Magnetized's topic in Just A Fan In case you don't know about it, here is a link to a great UT website: Factory Belt.

Gary Moore Dead at 58 I haven't seen any cause listed yet.

I recall reading about that somewhere. Maybe they will bring David Marks along if they do a reunion tour. I am going to grab his book and read it one of these days. I forgot about these events:

That Live In London album that I got when I was about 10 years old is still one of my favorite Beach Boys albums. I had the above set of shows up at The Owl and Bear, but I took it down once I remembered that the band is not tape trader friendly. Now, it's a two-fer: Beach Boys Concert/Live London

I found it on some blogs in FLAC. I don't mind messing with those sort of links sometimes, but Rapidshare takes forever unless you pay. It's up at The Traders' Den and Zomb Torrents (which is having free leach right now). This was the last BB boot I grabbed by way of a torrent site: It's up at Zomb Torrents also. Which is a bit odd, as they are on Dime a Dozen's Band Not Allowed list.

	Gary Moore R.I.P.

Synthesizer Patel - I figured you would post in this thread. I will check that version out. That Pet Sounds box set is nice. I think I own 4 or 5 copies of that album now. I am still looking for a reel to reel copy of it. I wonder if Al was "authorized" to let that bit of news out? Or was is just a spur of the moment deal?

Yes, and I guess that is the last time all of them worked on something together. As far as we know. I can't believe the prices on some of this stuff. I have the Nashville documentary on VHS. I taped a lot of music stuff off of TV back in those days.
