  1. It's good to see Alice Cooper getting some recognition. Rock Hall of Fame to Induct Alice Cooper, Neil Diamond, Tom Waits
  2. As you may know, that was Bono's attack on that terrible Goldman book (The Lives of John Lennon).
  3. There are several threads similar to this one and the GD always seem to get mentioned in such threads. I still think it best to go with what you are into, instead of what you are not into. I use to go on and on about such things, but it now seems best to go with what I like instead. As Mountain Bed would say, you are either on the bus, or you are not. I can't imagine a would without GD music. Sometimes, I think that is the only music I need.
  4. It took me a while to figure out how to set up stuff to do BT. I have not heard the show yet. I can't say I am fond of that song. Maybe he will do God Part II next.
  5. It means no one can connect to you, that is correct. I think it is due to not knowing how to fix it, or maybe the person is unable to fix it due to some limitation or restrictions on their connection. I just switched to cable internet, and I seem to still be ok, as far as I can tell.
  6. It could be Amazon will have a boxset sale. They have done that before.
  7. I'd like to get it. I wonder if it could be found for a lot less somewhere? I bought the other Jimi boxset (the purple box) for 20 bucks at Sam's Club a few years ago.
  8. I have to say I don't care for the Smile album. Sound of Lies I can live with. Rainy Day Music is great.
  9. Rainy Day Music That would be the same as making someone buy Human Touch/Lucky Town a second time. Ha ha ha ha
  10. I am guessing they don't own the album? You would think they would have done another re-release when they put out The Bunkhouse Album this past spring.
  11. It was re-released several few years ago. Blue Earth [Extra tracks, Original recording reissued, Original recording remastered]
  12. For me, the problem with the last two albums was the music, not the songs. The music was too laid back. I never really cared for Gold, nor do I care for Heartbreaker as much as a lot of people. I still think Faithless Street, Stranger's Almanac, Love Is Hell, and 29 are my favorites. Of course, there are a ton of unreleased songs, and whatnot to throw in there as well. The great thing about that guy is that he has something for everyone.
  13. That's a drag. Thanks for your efforts.
  14. At Amazon.com, it is now listed as a "limited edition": Ryan Adams & the Cardinals - III/IV [Limited Edition]
  15. I have not heard the new album, but I think he has stated several times that he hates country type music, and does not plan to make an album like that again. Of course, you never know with him. If the new album is similar to Love Is Hell, then I may like it. We'll see.
  16. U2's songs focus of Regent Square church services
  17. Grateful Dead, Student Center, Modesto Jr. College, Modesto, CA - 1969-03-28
  18. On the other side, is it necessary to post over and over again that one thinks the band sucks, or certain band members are bad, or whatever? I've seen a lot of that here over the past couple of years. I use to post a lot of negative stuff about various bands, and whatnot here. I was asked why I was spending my time putting down things I did not care for, when I could just post about stuff I do like. If people no longer like Wilco, the albums they make, the band members, the fact that they sell coffee, hats, etc., then why not just move on, and be done with it. If I am the only one it
  19. It's the same policy. But - current Wilco/Jeff shows appearing on BT sites are few and far between these days. So don't hold your breath. Of course, having said that, the show will probably get shared. Or maybe not. I hope he does not read the negative BS that one finds in a lot of threads in this section of the board these days.
  20. I'm going to get some of that coffee.
