  1. Once you figure out the year (you have two different years listed), you can go to Wilcobase and look for the show. If you find a page for the show, scroll down until you see Audio Sources, and look for one or two links that may be there. You can also do a search at db.etree.org/.
  2. Maybe I should. I actually had the cds, but I got rid of them.
  3. Doh! I meant the Christmas deal. I would think there is a collection of all those out there somewhere. There are ways to search Mp3 blogs, of course. Although, you may run across a bunch of dead links. I didn't know about that, I have never really looked at that message board, or if I have, it was a long time ago. I think the only R.E.M. song that has done anything for me since New Adventures in Hi-Fi is Daysleeper. But, as long as others enjoy the new stuff, it's all good.
  4. I was wondering why the footage was so clear. I didn't think someone put it up from a VHS tape. I figure someone at murmurs.com would know, unless they frown on such things.
  5. That's odd. You would think it would be out there. Right now I am watching the band on The Cutting Edge do a bunch of acoustic songs from 1984.
  6. Speaking of old videos, I still need to get my hands on a copy of Athens, Ga. - Inside/Out. Swan Swan H is such a great song.
  7. Right - there was a brief video of them doing that one also. I recall reading about them doing those songs.
  8. I was watching a video of them covering Wichita Lineman the other day. Good stuff. I doubt I will get the new album, but I will listen to it online before I make a final decision. I can't see Warner Brothers making a deal like that these days.
  9. I didn't think that book was all that great. Cherie Priest - Four and Twenty Blackbirds Boneshaker Dreadnought Anthony E. Zuiker - Level 26: Dark Origins Dark Prophecy: A Level 26 Thriller Featuring Steve Dark Steve Berry - The Emperor's Tomb
  10. I wonder if they will have another garage sale like they did the first time they broke up the band. I was surprised by that also. And the fact no one sat in with the band.
  11. And British Steel, of course. That album was about the same as Back In Black - in that everyone had it.
  12. Yes, but these days it is mainly old and forgotten acts that are putting out such albums. Although I think it is cool to do such a thing in a live setting, I would not want to see Jeff or Wilco make such an album.
  13. I actually never got into them all that much. I like the first two records - Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings of Destiny.
  14. I would think they are sick of playing that, along with several other songs. It may be the most popular song to the causal fan, or someone who was into the band when it was a hit way back when, but it's probably not with those who are more familiar with their albums. At least it is not to me.
  15. Looks like it was Neil Young night last night:
  16. I actually heard that in the very same record store where I also heard Nothings Shocking for the first time. I wish it was still around. It is a great opening track.
  17. That is true. If the new album, and the last one move you, then that is a good thing.
  18. It looks like Judas Priest is going the way of The Scorpions: Judas Priest announce farewell EPITAPH World Tour There was some talk that Iron Maiden was also going to hang it up, but I guess that was not true.
  19. Looks like they really have a thing for Dylan/The Band at the end of the run.
  20. The other day, I was watching TV, and landed on some new Country Music Video channel we have here. The songs I heard sort of reminded me of Ryan's new album. It's very generic. There is just nothing that reached out and grabbed me. I recall the first time I heard Inn Town, and I knew straight away that was an album I needed to buy. Now I understand those days are long gone, but still, he just ain't making music that does anything for me. The music is just too similar sounding. And it does sound like it was put together in a hurry.
  21. The whole album is streaming at PAX-AM. So far, I'd say it stinks. I have not listened to Rock n Roll in a long time, but it seems to be similar to that album. I think I am done buying his albums.
  22. It certainly looks nice. I wonder why they didn't include some sort of DVDs in the package? Although there may not be a lot, there is most certainly some film footage of her out there.
  23. I wonder how many have been sold? I would think only a real fan of hers would go for such a collection.
