  1. And British Steel, of course. That album was about the same as Back In Black - in that everyone had it.
  2. Yes, but these days it is mainly old and forgotten acts that are putting out such albums. Although I think it is cool to do such a thing in a live setting, I would not want to see Jeff or Wilco make such an album.
  3. I actually never got into them all that much. I like the first two records - Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings of Destiny.
  4. I would think they are sick of playing that, along with several other songs. It may be the most popular song to the causal fan, or someone who was into the band when it was a hit way back when, but it's probably not with those who are more familiar with their albums. At least it is not to me.
  5. Looks like it was Neil Young night last night:
  6. I actually heard that in the very same record store where I also heard Nothings Shocking for the first time. I wish it was still around. It is a great opening track.
  7. That is true. If the new album, and the last one move you, then that is a good thing.
  8. It looks like Judas Priest is going the way of The Scorpions: Judas Priest announce farewell EPITAPH World Tour There was some talk that Iron Maiden was also going to hang it up, but I guess that was not true.
  9. Looks like they really have a thing for Dylan/The Band at the end of the run.
  10. The other day, I was watching TV, and landed on some new Country Music Video channel we have here. The songs I heard sort of reminded me of Ryan's new album. It's very generic. There is just nothing that reached out and grabbed me. I recall the first time I heard Inn Town, and I knew straight away that was an album I needed to buy. Now I understand those days are long gone, but still, he just ain't making music that does anything for me. The music is just too similar sounding. And it does sound like it was put together in a hurry.
  11. The whole album is streaming at PAX-AM. So far, I'd say it stinks. I have not listened to Rock n Roll in a long time, but it seems to be similar to that album. I think I am done buying his albums.
  12. It certainly looks nice. I wonder why they didn't include some sort of DVDs in the package? Although there may not be a lot, there is most certainly some film footage of her out there.
  13. I wonder how many have been sold? I would think only a real fan of hers would go for such a collection.
  14. I'd like to have the new Sandy Denny boxset from your side of the world. I think one would have to rob a bank to pay for it though. Sandy Denny - Sandy Denny Complete Edition
  15. I was hoping to catch a show on this tour, but I never got to it.
  16. It seems kind of odd that they would decide to play that all of a sudden. Three more shows to go.
  17. It's on With The Beatles/Meet The Beatles!.
  18. That's it. He does it like Ringo.
  19. That was originally on a fanclub Christmas tape they put out in the mid 1990s. I think I have it on a BC B-Sides collection I found online a few years ago.
  20. I am surprised they are not recording/filming the shows for a DVD release.
  21. On Sunday, I spent some time creating track lists for all those shows I grabbed since August. I noticed they were really not playing that many different songs. It looks they are changing things up for the final run of shows that are going on this week.
  22. Just got this by way of my Facebook page: That was a great episode of Community last week.
  23. This thread was the first one. That is why I posted in this thread. I have the R.E.M. fanclub single from 1993. Silver Bells is on the A-side.
  24. This may be a new favorite: David Bowie (Will Ferrell) visits Bing Crosby (John C. Reilly) during the holidays to sing a duet of two Christmas classics, Peace on Earth & The Little Drummer Boy.
