  1. Neil Young Preps New Album, Box Set
  2. The Black Crowes Talk Tall Tales
  3. There is a release date now: DVD Release of Ladies & Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones: October 19, 2010 I guess since they are not doing a new album or a tour for at least another year, they are going to continue to re-release old stuff.
  4. As far as I know, no source has appeared yet.
  5. I recall seeing it somewhere a long time ago.
  6. I was thinking the same thing. I don't think any of them spent that much time in England in 1974.
  7. I believe Dee is going to have a Ozzy style reality show on somewhere soon. SMF!
  8. I have been in Maine. I have not been online since Monday morning. Far out, man. Taper's Section (July 26 - August 2, 2010)
  9. No, it's older than the hills. The John B. Sails
  10. A friend of mine use to play the Schoolboys album (along with the Jethro Tull album Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll: Too Young to Die) a lot back in the early 1980s.
  11. Sloop John B usually gets singled out as messing up the flow/storyline of the album. It use to be said that he was made to put the song on the album, but I have also read that he wanted it on there. Good Vibrations was also going to be on the album at one point. As you may know, Pet Sounds was considered a failure when it was released. I can think of three - Dark Side of The Moon (although, I would have left off Money) The Unforgettable Fire (minus Pride In The Name of Love) Days of Future Passed (Nights In White Satin sticks out due to the fact we have heard it too many times)
  12. U2 Reworking Old Songs With Dave Hollister I am not familiar with the song Grace, as I have not listened to that album in years, but I don't know why they would mess with All I Want Is You. I think that is a great song.
  13. I don't know which one he is offering - is it the FM source? If so, there should be 11 tracks.
  14. There are two sources for this show (AUD and FM.) The AUD source is up at The Wilco Archive, the FM source is not (I did not bother to grab it, as it is only part of the show, and there is lots of DJ chatter on the tracks.) Both sources are still being seeded at Dime a Dozen.
  15. Taper's Section (July 19 - July 25, 2010)
  16. Simple Minds? Now all he needs is a distribution/record company, or is he just going to continue to release limited editions of his records?
  17. This is probably the one to read: Moon: The Life and Death of a Rock Legend (it is over 600 pages).
  18. I have seen Mr. Butler interviewed in various Moon/Who documentaries.
  19. I have a first edition of that book. There was probably only one paperback edition, so I bet it is the same one I have. The copy I have was given to me by a teacher in high school, who is now a friend of mine on Facebook. He use to call me "Moon". It's pretty much junk, but there is some funny stuff in there.
