  1. We are getting Widespread Panic in September, and The Drive-By Truckers in October in Morgantown.
  2. This section of the board: Greatest Lost Track of All Time Very few Wilco shows seem to appear these days.
  3. That was the last time I saw the band. Jeff told me they would be back some day.
  4. Piss on Virginia. Uncle Tupelo and Wilco have both played Mountain Stage (as you probably know).
  5. Yes. You can read about the Tall and Band albums [The Lost Crowes] at Crowesbase. Even Steve says that his favorite album is Southern Harmony And Musical Companion.
  6. A lot of people like it. I like the music better than the lyrics (which I think are sometimes terrible on that album).
  7. There is probably not too many acoustic albums out there where the band jams out the endings. I rather like it. That was from What's Wrong With Steve? - a site where he answers questions that fans ask. The other thing I posted is his sports podcast site.
  8. That interview with Steve I posted is over an hour long, but he has some things to say that worth hearing I think. I listened to it off and on throughout the day.
  9. I am listening to it now. The sound is really good.
  10. I am glad they are doing that. I am not down with these sort of films, and they are just going to show him as a junkie for an hour and a half anyhow. Although, now I see they are saying it is going to be about his life before the band. That was not what was said when this was accounced last year, I don't think. Some more news about the vinyl re-issues: Grateful Dead Albums Return to Vinyl
  11. I think you can go to Archive.org and do a song search, and then find the show.
  12. I have not listened to it yet, I will do that tomorrow. Interview with Steve about the new album at Steve Gorman Sports.
  13. I just picked up the new album at Walmart for ten bucks. I have several thousand cds, and I am pretty sure I have never seen a pop-up deal in a cd sleeve before.
  14. I think that is right. Jerry re-mixed them sometime in the early 1970s. Vinyl records are selling like hotcakes these days, so it makes sense that they would put those out.
  15. I recall that song from the New Wave days. I really like the song Acrobat also.
  16. I've always liked the song Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World.
  17. Taper's Section (August 2 - August 9, 2010)
  18. I don't suppose we will ever hear the album they were working on when Marc left a second time. Although, Cold Boy Smile and Magic Rooster Blues ended up on the Brothers Of A Feather cd/dvd.
  19. What I recall reading a lot of was a longing for the band to continue in the view of Southern Harmony. I prefer the jamming stuff, but I also really like the last two albums. Those two albums are really the only new music I have listened to over and over again.
  20. A lot of people seem to hate it - the so-called super fans, that is. I have read many posts about how people hate the fact that they became a "country band". I find that sort of odd.
  21. I was listening to the Sweet Pickle Salad cd yesterday. Now, I have the song Clothes And Food stuck in my head.
  22. I was thinking the same thing. I doubt any of them live there anymore.
