  1. I have a first edition of that book. There was probably only one paperback edition, so I bet it is the same one I have. The copy I have was given to me by a teacher in high school, who is now a friend of mine on Facebook. He use to call me "Moon". It's pretty much junk, but there is some funny stuff in there.
  2. I don't think I had a cd player then. Those were the cassette days.
  3. If you want to see him in action, check out his work with The Trailer Park Boys. He most certainly has a screw loose. I found it interesting there was no mention of his troubles in Florida.
  4. I have the following: For some odd reason, I lost interest in his albums. I don't think I have listened to them in years.
  5. I never knew it was released on cd. I think I got the cassette I have sometime in the early 1990s.
  6. I agree, it is somewhat about selling product, but there is a sound difference. If there wasn't, I would not bought all the Beach Boys cds so many times.
  7. That is true - but it would be odd to do them all and leave that one out.
  8. Check out this thread: Nudie Suits

  10. The following were re-done, and re-released last year: New Morning, Before the Flood, The Basement Tapes, and Dylan and the Dead. Dylan 2009 Remasters - Basement Tapes/Before the Flood/New Morning/Dylan & the Dead I am not really one to buy such things again unless the release includes bonus tracks, a cd booklet with some sort of nice essay, maybe some unseen photos, etc.
  11. I did not bother with all of that. All of my Dylan cds are the old "Nice Price" versions. I think they have been re-done again since the SACD releases, come to think of it. And of course, I have Dylan on cassette.
  12. Bob Dylan - Limited Edition Catalog Box Set [Hybrid SACD - DSD, Original recording remastered, Box set] I don't think anyone is in any hurry to work on Dylan.
  13. I thought all of the Bob Dylan albums were re-mastered a few years ago.
  14. Maybe it will now be 6 records, instead of 3 records.
  15. Pearl Jam Rides High "Amongst The Waves"
  16. Hidden Track also takes a look at the reunion. Pink Floyd's Gilmour To Join Waters On Lone 'Wall' Date David Gilmour to Join Roger Waters Again
  17. I thought they used rocks or sheep eyeballs for currency in Ireland. I carry so much stuff, that I have hired someone to carry my stuff for me.
  18. I think all of The Clash cds have been re-done. Not sure. I think it really comes down to who does the work, amount of money spent, research/time spent on the project, etc. I agree, some of the stuff we have is jut jacked up in volume, and little else has been done.
  19. I never bother with those sort of releases. The first two really need re-mastered. Re-master Re-mastering is not re-mixing. We have to remember that sometimes the weird drum sound, or what have you, is what the band or producer wanted.
  20. Of course, some stuff has been re-released multiple times, and then there is the deluxe, and legacy releases. I think I now own 4 or 5 versions of Pet Sounds. Also - some stuff I want, like all the Free re-masters, seem to be UK only releases. That stinks.
  21. All the cds were re-done and released by Rhino a couple of years ago. I think there was talk of a box set.
  22. Much as I don't really want to buy them all again - 1973: Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J. 1973: The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle 1975: Born to Run (done) 1978: Darkness on the Edge of Town (sometime this year?) 1980: The River 1982: Nebraska 1984: Born in the U.S.A. 1976 Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (has been re-mastered twice, I think) 1978 You're Gonna Get It!(has been re-mastered twice, I think) 1979 Damn the Torpedoes 1981 Hard Promises 1982 Long After Dark 1985 Southern Accents 1985 Pack Up the Plantation: Live! 1987 Let Me Up (I've Had Enough) 1991 Into t
