You may want to check out the last two (Warpaint and Before the Frost/Until the Freeze). Some songs I would have liked to have heard on the new album: Seeing Things, Title Song, Feathers, Miracle to Me, Thunderstorm 6:54, Peace Anyway, Wyoming & Me
-
I question some of the song choices, but I figure everyone has a thought about what they would have liked to see on there. Like Wilco, you can readily tell how tight they are from so much touring.
-
I figure it is a pressing from the 1980s (I think there were some made by way of the vinyl album being copied). I would be surprised if it was an original pressing.

When I was out of town, I got to see a whole stack of vintage Beatle vinyl bootlegs. I don't think they had ever been played and they were in pretty good condition. It was interesting to see something I had read about, but never seen. I also got to see the Two Virgins album. I am trying to figure out if it was the original pressing. I did not see the back, only the front, which looked like this one: Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins

Wilco’s Stirratt & Sansone To Release New Autumn Defense Album
-
I posted in this thread due to the location, but I actually somewhat agree with you. We don't need to know such things. We just need to know where and when the show is, and how much the tickets are going to cost. I mean no offense to Mr, Skywalker, but it does seem sort of an odd thing to post on here.

I meant when you open up the cd, a pop-up appears in the middle of the cd artwork. (It's those bird guys sitting in the woods.) They have been putting stickers in their albums for a few years now. No booklet in this release though. I don't think the old albums had stickers in them. Another thing about Three Snakes - the artwork is terrible.

We are getting Widespread Panic in September, and The Drive-By Truckers in October in Morgantown.

This section of the board: Greatest Lost Track of All Time Very few Wilco shows seem to appear these days.
-
That was the last time I saw the band. Jeff told me they would be back some day.
-
Piss on Virginia. Uncle Tupelo and Wilco have both played Mountain Stage (as you probably know).
-
Yes. You can read about the Tall and Band albums [The Lost Crowes] at Crowesbase. Even Steve says that his favorite album is Southern Harmony And Musical Companion.

A lot of people like it. I like the music better than the lyrics (which I think are sometimes terrible on that album).
-
There is probably not too many acoustic albums out there where the band jams out the endings. I rather like it. That was from What's Wrong With Steve? - a site where he answers questions that fans ask. The other thing I posted is his sports podcast site.

That interview with Steve I posted is over an hour long, but he has some things to say that worth hearing I think. I listened to it off and on throughout the day.
-
I am listening to it now. The sound is really good.

I am glad they are doing that. I am not down with these sort of films, and they are just going to show him as a junkie for an hour and a half anyhow. Although, now I see they are saying it is going to be about his life before the band. That was not what was said when this was accounced last year, I don't think. I think you can go to Archive.org and do a song search, and then find the show.
-
I have not listened to it yet, I will do that tomorrow. Interview with Steve about the new album at Steve Gorman Sports.
-
I just picked up the new album at Walmart for ten bucks. I have several thousand cds, and I am pretty sure I have never seen a pop-up deal in a cd sleeve before.
-
I think that is right. Jerry re-mixed them sometime in the early 1970s. Vinyl records are selling like hotcakes these days, so it makes sense that they would put those out.

The drums in that song are great.
