  1. I think that is because they acquired the footage. I don't know how, but I am guessing some of it must have been bought from those who had the original film.
  2. I was going to try and go to one of the NY shows, but all the good seats were gone not long after they went on sale. And there is no way I am going to pay a bunch of money to sit in the back of Madison Square Garden.
  3. The audio is out there to be had. I think I have all of the Japan shows. Someone took the silent film, and added the audio. Or someone had a Super-8 camera with sound. There are all sorts of clips like that at Led Zeppelin.com. Another one:
  4. There are a couple of blogs I looks at that feature obscure albums from the 60s. That is where I found it. I like the song Jane S. Piddy. I have not heard Coming From Reality yet. I also like to dig around on Youtube and find things like that.
  5. Well that's funny - I just discovered the album Cold Fact yesterday. Sixto was definitely unique, but he was rather influenced by Dylan I would say.
  6. I think they sort of butcher Do Right Woman though. But - so did Gram Parsons. I always loved the very beginning, and then not so much after that. I am grabbing the Milwaukee show also: Last night in Ohio:
  7. True - It will be interesting to see how many songs they play throughout this tour.
  8. I think that is due to the fact that band does not care for the album. They were playing Welcome To The Goodtimes off and on there for a while.
  9. That is another project he did with Glenn Hughes, Joe Bonamassa, and Derek Sherinian. Black Country
  10. I am listening to this show: Grateful Dead Live at Shrine Auditorium on 1968-08-23 Taper's Section (August 23 - August 29, 2010)
  11. A State of Texas sounds like something off of Too Far To Care.
  12. We just talked about that album the other day. I think Chris summed it up recently when he said it was the least amount of time he had ever spent on an album. And that it left him cold.
  13. Which is now owned by the Concord Music Group. I didn't know he changed labels.
  14. I would. Chris is not doing that scream singing deal now, he hasn't for a while. I saw this on Jambands.com yesterday: A lot of the shows are popping up on bt.etree.org now.
  15. Bob Lefsetz had a post about this album the other day: Mellancamp He also has a box set coming out. He is putting on quite a show - a stripped down set, then a film, and then a full band set.
  16. I did not know about that. As someone who use to post too much negative shit, it does get old, when you stand back and look at it from a distance. I see that on about every fansite I look at, but I suppose it sticks out more on the site you spend the most time viewing. That's a shame, as it is a great site. I use to to follow HyperRust (the website), but I don't think it has been updated in several years. The thing is, Neil, like Dylan can and does whatever the hell he wants.
  17. I don't really care for either of those albums, but I would rather listen to Lions. It appears Steve does not think very much of Lions either. I recall there was a code card in the cd case to download a live show. I had no idea what that was about at the time. I also have a copy of the Lions premiere web cast they did. (Youtube links)
  18. It looks like he was right. As he is going to be on that horrible show.
  19. Watch: Roger Waters and David Gilmour’s July reunion
  20. Bob Dylan tries new ticket-selling model for San Francisco gig That is an interesting idea. It's like the old days, but I don't suppose the road manager will be walking around with paper bags full of money this time.
  21. Neil Young to Tour Gulf Coast In September
