  1. I am listening to it now. The sound is really good.
  2. I am glad they are doing that. I am not down with these sort of films, and they are just going to show him as a junkie for an hour and a half anyhow. Although, now I see they are saying it is going to be about his life before the band. That was not what was said when this was accounced last year, I don't think. Some more news about the vinyl re-issues: Grateful Dead Albums Return to Vinyl
  3. I think you can go to Archive.org and do a song search, and then find the show.
  4. I have not listened to it yet, I will do that tomorrow. Interview with Steve about the new album at Steve Gorman Sports.
  5. I just picked up the new album at Walmart for ten bucks. I have several thousand cds, and I am pretty sure I have never seen a pop-up deal in a cd sleeve before.
  6. I think that is right. Jerry re-mixed them sometime in the early 1970s. Vinyl records are selling like hotcakes these days, so it makes sense that they would put those out.
  7. I recall that song from the New Wave days. I really like the song Acrobat also.
  8. I've always liked the song Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World.
  9. Taper's Section (August 2 - August 9, 2010)
  10. I don't suppose we will ever hear the album they were working on when Marc left a second time. Although, Cold Boy Smile and Magic Rooster Blues ended up on the Brothers Of A Feather cd/dvd.
  11. What I recall reading a lot of was a longing for the band to continue in the view of Southern Harmony. I prefer the jamming stuff, but I also really like the last two albums. Those two albums are really the only new music I have listened to over and over again.
  12. A lot of people seem to hate it - the so-called super fans, that is. I have read many posts about how people hate the fact that they became a "country band". I find that sort of odd.
  13. I was listening to the Sweet Pickle Salad cd yesterday. Now, I have the song Clothes And Food stuck in my head.
  14. I was thinking the same thing. I doubt any of them live there anymore.
  15. It's wasn't exactly easy to find. I just happened to recall that press release was on their website somewhere. For those of you in Atlanta: Steve Gorman
  16. Manowar - Die For Metal Amon Amarth - The Pursuit of Vikings Apricots!
  17. It is certainly an interesting marketing idea. Free download of My Morning Song (from Croweology)
  18. Neil Young Preps New Album, Box Set
  19. The Black Crowes Talk Tall Tales
  20. There is a release date now: DVD Release of Ladies & Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones: October 19, 2010 I guess since they are not doing a new album or a tour for at least another year, they are going to continue to re-release old stuff.
  21. As far as I know, no source has appeared yet.
