  1. I was wondering if we would see Katey Sagal again.
  2. That's it. As a stone skipping over a turbulent body of water. Speaking of movies, a friend of mine called me the other day and asked me if had I ever noticed that Tuco acts/looks like a rat towards the end of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. I told him to check out the beginning when they are reading through his crimes, and notice the name that Eastwood refers to him as when he is standing off to himself. That is probably one of my most favorite movies of all time. What would the story be if Taxi Driver 2 was made? Would it turn into a Death Wish type of film, or would he be "cured",
  3. I think they have often denounced that book. I can't recall exactly. I believe it talks about Altamont in the According To The Rolling Stones book. I can't recall when they say they arrived though.
  4. A friend of mine use to complain about the flashbacks to the swing. Here's another Nick Nolte film for people to check out: Farewell to the King (1989). I should say that in my mind, Travis Bickle does not live to be an old man.
  5. When I first saw this thread, I thought of poor old Sylvester Stallone still making Rocky/Rambo films after all of these years. I don't need a sequel to Taxi Driver. I don't think anyone can duplicate the magic of that film. I think The Thin Red Line is a great film (along with Badlands, and Days of Heaven).
  6. I think Mick and Keith are both working on their memoirs these days. I don't recall very many good books about the band in general, except for Stone Alone and According to the Rolling Stones. There may be some listed in this thread: Various Music Related Books Old Ones, New Ones, Recommendations
  7. That's right. The link was not working, it is now.
  8. I'm listening to this show: Grateful Dead Live at Campus Stadium - University Of California on 1973-05-20 Taper's Section (February 15 - February 21, 2010)
  9. There is also the timeline on Wilco's Wikipedia page. I don't think there are specific dates given when you click on the names at the bottom of that page. I am curious to know where whoever put the timeline up at Dipity got their information.
  10. Dave Mustaine on That Metal Show He always seems like he needs a boot to the head.
  11. I don't know if this is correct or not: Wilco Timeline courtesy of Dipity
  12. That could be. Some of those songs are not familiar to me, such as the song Hi-Speed Transportation LA City Limit Blues. I am curious to hear that one.
  13. I see. I really like the layout of the New Earth Mud website.
  14. I could see Pearl Jam playing the show someday. I figure if Neil played the show, he would just use whatever band members he was currently working with at the time.
  15. Here it is - Wilco Show Info and Policies
  16. That's the great thing about Youtube, all the dudes that use to tape things like that, put them out there for us to watch:
  17. Speaking of tapes, check out this article: A Taper’s Section Night to Remember…Grateful Dead Play Chapel Hill 3/24/93
  18. I believe that is a type/style of Do-rag worn by black males in the 1940s. Prince has always dressed up in some sort of costume (for lack of a better term). You don't expect him to come out and jam in a T-Shirt and jeans, do you? I think it may have come out of the Zoot Suit culture. I am not sure. What Lucy has on is a ladies scarf.
  19. For me, it's a new world, as I really only listen to shows from 1968-1974.
