  1. Also - John Hinckley, Jr. and Robert John Bardo. Maybe because I was older when I first read it, but I never got into the book all that much. I think it was banned in my high school. I can't recall for certain though. I've read the other books, more than once, but I would not cite Salinger as a favorite. I think I also read the book that Joyce Maynard wrote several years ago.
  2. The Sabre Corporation I have to say that last episode was not so great. I can't believe they did a clips show (The Banker).
  3. I think Leon just got out of the hospital not too long ago. Neil Young Honored As MusiCares Person Of The Year (Thrasher's Wheat post)
  4. Yes, they are generally a couple hundred bucks now. I think some were some available last summer for about 400 hundred bucks.
  5. I just picked up The Deadhead's Taping Compendium, Volume III for about 74 bucks. I have not seen it that low in quite some time. I happened to be checking my Amazon list and noticed the price drop. The condition was described as "very good". I hope that is true.
  6. I asked him a question, and he answered me. I can't recall the circumstances exactly. I think it was that he had the comments section open on his blog for a while.
  7. That is from some video footage he had posted on his old blog. There was an earlier story about the group trying to keep him from doing the show. My hat is off to them, but they are spending time on the wrong deal. He was investigated thoroughly and found not to have downloaded anything. They actually took every computer he owned, and other equipment from his house. He was, however, put on a sex offenders list for five years. I believe he did just what he said he did - he stupidly went onto a site to find out some things. I think if he really was into such things, they would have busted
  8. I just saw this one at the place I found the Cleveland show:
  9. That is the one Showtime made and got sued over (or some sort of legal deal). It's terrible. Do you have the This! Network? I noticed it was on there.
  10. I meant not in that rough rehearsal form. I actually prefer the later Hendrix songs, particularly his guitar sound from that era.
  11. Jimi Hendrix, 'Valleys of Neptune' -- Song Premiere I don't think Jimi would have released this - that is for sure.
  12. I believe the deal was that he compared the album to Dylan's The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan. I believe this was due to the feel and some of sounds of Heartbreaker - not the song writing. I wish we could go back to real rock music writing, instead of lists and short articles.
  13. That is one of my favorite Bruce songs. Old Max had two jobs, and now he has none.
  14. Thanks. If I decide to grab the shows, they will have to be good FLAC rips. I am a bit wore out on chasing shows at the moment anyhow.
  15. Phoenix Without Ashes - Harlan Ellison The Legendary Joe Meek: The Telstar Man - John Repsch Trouble in Paradise - Robert B. Parker Chiefs: A Novel - Stuart Woods Aftermath - Charles Sheffield Curious Notions - Harry Turtledove
  16. I have watched several Sci-Fi movies on Youtube over the past year - including the ones you mentioned. I am looking for these Andy Griffith TV movies - they have a couple of them: was the other version of Genesis II/Planet Earth.
  17. Did you buy those? I am curious about the quality - as they have TV movies from the 70s that I want to buy.
  18. Far out. I guess I am not the only one who has a copy. I grabbed a nice rip of Agora Night (8/9/1978) the other night.
  19. Yinz can enjoy the video thanks to Aricandover: A Shot In The Arm (video) There are a few other threads about videos. I doubt Wilco's record company view videos as a worthwhile marketing tool these days. VH1.com MTV, CMT, and MSN have the videos up also.
