These guys screw up because they try to use their power and wealth to cover things up. In the days before instant access, this could be pulled off more successfully. Now, not so much. It could also be that the people in the inner circle know that there is money to be made by way of a book deal - so they are less likely to remain loyal these days.

Just Simon - They have been playing that way for a while now. I think it is so Pete can concentrate on solos, and jumping around. I've seen video from the last tour. I think someone mentioned ZZ Top (on another message board I am on). But didn't they already play a Super Bowl show? (I have not really watched a football game since the early 1980s, so without looking it up, I don't know.)

They (AC/DC) are active at the moment. Guns N'Roses could be a candidate also.

What we were hearing was the mix made for TV. So I think that is one of the reasons is sounded the way it did. There is speculation that the scream was not live. It would not surprise me. Still, I thought it was great.

Paul Rodgers is not in Queen anymore. He is back doing shows with Bad Company. I doubt Ozzy will ever play with Black Sabbath again, due to the lawsuit he filed last year. Although, you never know. The dude can't sing anymore anyhow. I can't see The Police ever playing together again. I say this after reading Stewart Copeland's book. I am amazed they made it through the reunion tour. I would think John Mellencamp will be up there at some point.
