For those of you who follow the series Chad Vader Day Shift Manager, there is finally a new episode to watch: Chad Vader Season 2 #1 - The Takeover

Rock Horror did not make it very long here - some people brought in eggs and trashed the place. I think I may have actually seen The Warriors at the Drive-In back in the day.

I'm surprised they would let people bring glass bottles into a theater. Don't Forget: Twisted Sister - Come Out And Play

True - nothing can be done about that. I think I read somewhere that Streets of Fire was a one take not even learned by the band song. I like that sort of thing - most of the time. I'd say the problem with The River is that it's sounds too "tinny" or bright.
-
The sound is quite muddy - that's for sure. We've had this discussion before, but all of his early albums need re-mastered.

Darkness On The Edge Of Town is probably my favorite Bruce album. I am particularly fond of the song Racing in the Street.

I don't really know anything about Norah Jones. I just happened to run across Adele's videos on Youtube one day and found that song. I think she has talent.

I didn't watch the show. Billboard has some behind the scenes type interviews up this morning: The 2009 Grammys: What You Didn't See On TV

Did you figure it out?

Thanks for posting. There is nothing new on the blog as of today.

I'd like to check out Headley Grange.
-
What a music collection he has. That is the sort of set-up I need - built in the wall shelving.

I just went to archive.org to check that show out - but it's not there due to the fact has been released as Dick's Picks Vol. 29. I just looked it up - it's 6 cds. The Dead store list of all the Dick's Picks. Sometimes, I wish I had bought them when they were offering the entire series for a couple hundred bucks. The guy who does the Dead Listening Blog is doing Podcasts now. I don't have a iPod, but I just download it and listen to it using Winamp. I use don't mess with such things, but I thought I would check this out - as this guy really puts a lot of work into his blog posts. Th

That is the Telecaster that Jeff Beck gave him. Below are some AUD shot clips of the It Might Get Loud (documentary): Jimmy at Headley Grange.

There is an interview in the new issue of Rolling Stone with Sean Penn. I don't think I knew that he use to be with Bruce Springsteen's sister - if I did, I must have forgotten. The Indian Runner is a great film. Oddly enough, you can watch the whole movie on Youtube.

Thanks for the comments. As I have said before - I don't think I have ever heard that show. I have read about it many times, but don't recall ever hearing it.

Aha - I did not know these things. I have not kept up with the show that much. So it was older episodes I saw. I figured they had to have something going on - when they were on that shopping trip to Sam's Club - and no product names were blurred out. Matt Roloff does the speaking deal also - I forgot about that. Family relations are a painful trip - for some, for others everything is cool. That's all I can say about that. I see that blog has been deleted. I did a Google search - and the link I found worked. Odd.

This is new (that is, this footage has not surfaced until now):

That's a great jam in Turn On Your Lovelight from Hundred Year Hall. I am thinking about snagging this: Grateful Dead - 1977-05-08 - Barton Hall, Cornell University - Ithaca, NY *40th Matrix*

That is what I was thinking.

Today, I am playing:
