  1. Out of Print? I saw this once on Showtime or somewhere 5 or 6 years ago. I liked the 76 footage.
  2. Oh - I agree. I think part of deal is some of us are on here all the time - so we see this stuff over and over again.

  4. I am just glad I finally recalled how to snag the info. He only posted when he updated his site. I see he has a myspace page - maybe you could get in touch with him that way.
  5. I guess they need to buy another island or two.

  9. I think some of what you are looking for is in this thread. There is no sense in duplicating the work that jcroach has already done. Also - as I mentioned to you before - you may want to contact this guy.
  10. There are also FLAC files of those tracks out there to be had.
  11. Not bad ~ I also have the following to read - via ILL: The Small Faces & Other Stories: The Faces : Peter Frampton, Rod Stewart, Ronnie Lane, Steve Marriott, Humble Pie by Uli Twelker and Roland Schmitt Riot on Sunset Strip: Rock'n'Roll's Last Stand in Hollywood by Domenic Priore and Arthur Lee Making Tracks: The Rise of Blondie by Debbie Harry, Chris Stein, and Victor Bockris Jeff Beck - Crazy Fingers by Annette Carson and Jeff Beck Weapons of Choice (The Axis of Time Trilogy, Book 1, 2, 3) by John Birmingham
  12. There is also a song on the last Tom Petty solo album that rips off that groove.
  13. Norman's site. There were, of course, other JC freaker songs during that time period.
  14. I have always wondered why it came out on a different label than Reprise. I think Vapor Records is owned by Elliot Roberts - or ran by him anwyhow. I think it is actually distributed by Reprise - come to think of it.
  15. I have owned it since it was published - early 1990s? - I think I have read it a few times.
  16. I have never read the other book that dude wrote - The Neon Bible.
  17. I mean - kids do what they do - but smoking meth is not a recreational enterprise - I don't think.
  18. I think it is sad. As I was saying to The Owl - that film reminds me somewhat of what happened to the Catholic school kids who went to my high school - they went nuts with their newly found so-called freedom. I don't much care for the JC deal - but their work ethic is amazing.
  19. I am quiet fascinated with their way of life - I don't think you would much care for how the woman are treated there. The Devil's Playground (8 parts)

  21. I was talking to/with LB there - no one else. Also - concerning the GD thread - if the first one was not locked, there would not have been a second one. I believe the policy here is to lock threads when they hit 500 replies. I guess this has to do with some technical deal. Oddily enough - on another board I look at there is a RTT section - and they have threads there that are 500 pages long. Also - I was not busting on anyone - just remarking on the fact that with some bands - there seems to be constant debates about their worth - or lack there of - whatever the case may be. I some
  22. We had another one of those the other day.
