  1. Dntel - Aimlessness The Tallest Man On Earth - There's No Leaving Now Bobby Womack - The Bravest Man In The Universe
  2. Hot Chip - In Our Heads Wow, Let Me Be Him... just, wow.
  3. I follow Wayne Coyne's Twitter and it's just an utter mess. He keeps on retweeting people that are basically saying "Erykah Badu should be glad that Wayne brought her back into relevance", "it's only a music video", and "Coyne and Badu should collaborate again for something wicked with this drama." It's just a mess because Wayne's just feeding off his own and his fans horrible rationalization. And it's pretty sad just watching Coyne feed his own rationalizations to himself and not admit any wrongdoing and feeding his followers some of the polarizing and hateful retweets when he claims it's
  4. They obviously should've included those lines in the commercial. So relevant to outpace the competition.
  5. Definitely in the wrong section of the forums. Aside from that, rest in peace. EDIT: Thank you, moderators.
  6. Oh no. Them popular commercials that cover bands but vaguely leave the viewers uninformed of consent. I wonder if this is musical rape.
  7. I take it back. We Can't Be Beat climbing rapidly to favorite. Line By Line is pretty good too. As for Liars, I can't explain what it is I like about them. I easily understand why others don't like them though. No. 1 Against The Rush is pretty great. Japandroids - Celebration Rock
  8. Saint Etienne - Words And Music By Saint Etienne Liars - WIXIW Oh Liars. I don't think I can ever stop liking your work.
  9. Walkmen, The - Heaven I really expected a powerhouse single followed by a consistently decent/good album. All I'm getting is the latter. Maybe I should stop yearning for We've Been Had, The Rat, Lost In Boston, In The New Year, and Angela Surf City. Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros - Here I didn't think Nostalgia could sound awful. As Jubal Early best puts it, "well, here I am." Also, I thought M.I.A. takes the crown for worst album covers ever. She's got some competition. Sigur Rós - Valtari
  10. They all produced giant publicity stunts that shocked a large percentage of the public. They all have very firm views of the world. They all seem to have the current attention of the world, and they all play to their own tune regardless of critics. How much more vague could this get? There are other musicians as well as stars that have "the world's attention and provoke serious debate." There's Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Radiohead, U2, and etc. I'm going to be very clear this time. Your reasoning, it is weak. EDIT: Also, I think you're trying to bait, haha.
  11. Man, I could say the same about Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Billy Corgan, Piers Morgan, and many more. They've led profitable careers and raises many questions that are just so provocatively vague. Man, if only I could be more vague than actually say something, then I could surely provoke serious debate. Because no one else wants to write vague anthems about sexual identity aside from Lady Gaga.
  12. Beach House - Bloom Only 3 songs in, it's so,... beautiful.
  13. Yo La Tengo - And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out That kind of night. :/
  14. Happy birthday, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot! And happy way belayed birthday, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot!
  15. Alabama Shakes - Boys & Girls Coxon, Graham - A+E
  16. Lotus Plaza - Spooky Action At A Distance Deerhunter guitarist's second solo album sounds pretty awesome. Stuff you could fall asleep to in a pleasant way.
  17. Super Furry Animals - Phantom Power
  18. Shins, The - Port Of Morrow Rossen, Daniel - Silent Hour / Golden Mile Oh Daniel Rossen, my body is not ready for you.
  19. Bear In Heaven - I Love You, It's Cool In the running for the worst album art as well as worst album title of 2012. Let's see if we got some real winners like Wholehearted Mess and Lovesick Teenagers.
  20. I thought it good. But I don't know why I don't play it more. It's like a midway point between Lee's stuff on Sonic Youth and some of Wilco's Nels-inspired jams. Loincloth - Iron Balls Of Steel
  21. Ranaldo, Lee - Between The Times And The Tides
  22. Perfume Genius - Put Your Back N 2 It More depressing piano driven tunes for everyone!
  23. Earth - Angels Of Darkness, Demons Of Light II
  24. AV Club reports on Mermaid Avenue III with the title Billy Bragg, Wilco still milking Mermaid Avenue sessions for all they’re worth. Stirratt's response on Twitter: Still milking Woody? 3 albums in 14 years, no tour for any record. Almost no promo when the records came out. Really?
