  1. Sinkane - Mars Titus Andronicus - Local Business Bat For Lashes - The Haunted Man Potentially NSFW cover.
  2. Converge - All We Love We Leave Behind
  3. While the Rolling Stones carry an amazing discography brimming with excellent songs, I'm still sad that this thread hasn't shown enough variance for people to honor Let It Loose. Now, excuse me as I execute this pun entirely.
  4. A.C. Newman - Shut Down The Streets
  5. — The Paul Butterfield Blues Band. — Chic. — Deep Purple. — Heart. — Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. — Albert King. — Kraftwerk. — The Marvelettes. — The Meters. — Randy Newman. — N.W.A. — Procul Harum. — Public Enemy. — Donna Summer. — Rush. If not even one of the bold make it in before or at the same time as Rush does, I will be largely disappointed with Rush's fan base as I already see just by looking online. There are opinions. And then sometimes, you're just wrong, inconsiderate, and naive.
  6. http://boardgamegeek.com/ If you love board games, that is a great reference spot. Competitive: Battlestar Galactica has almost torn my friends apart even though it's so much fun. I prefer to call it Battlscars Galactica. The skill ceiling in this game is mainly in the politics. The skill required is entirely dependent on your opponent. Ticket To Ride has provided tons of fun and has an easy entry level from my perspective. Who doesn't like trains? I would highly recommend everyone to play this game because of its easy entry and high skill ceiling. Power Grid is still one of my favorite
  7. Flying Lotus - Until The Quiet Comes Daphni - JIAOLONG Caribou's Dan Snaith makes another moniker aside from Manitoba. Songs are all pretty good. But the album sequence feels very loose. Tame Impala - Lonerism Grizzly Bear - Shields
  8. Dum Dum Girls - End Of Daze The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Meat And Bone Woods - Bend Beyond
  9. Yo La Tengo - Stupid Things Menomena - Moms Father John Misty - Fear Fun Factory Floor - Two Different Ways Flying Lotus - Until The Quiet Comes
  10. Melody's Echo Chamber - Melody's Echo Chamber The Mountain Goats - Transcendental Youth
  11. http://www.npr.org/event/music/161342048/grizzly-bear-in-concert NPR has recorded a set from September 20th 2012 at the 09:30 Club in Washington, D.C. A Simple Answer ends on a much stronger note.
  12. Ben Folds Five - The Sound Of The Life Of The Mind Never could get into them. Definitely won't on their most mediocre attempt. Ricardo Villalobos - Dependent And Happy
  13. Frightened Rabbit - State Hospital Band Of Horses - Mirage Rock What happened to this band? This is awful. Kreayshawn - Something About Kreay My judgement of Gucci Gucci, her breakout hit, has definitely foreshadowed the cow dung slung.
  14. Even though I want to stay modest, I highly doubt anyone else that went to the South Bend show in 2010 desired Say You Miss Me as much as I did. It's good to know my requested at least echoed on the internet poll results when I checked.
  15. Grizzly Bear - Sorry For The Delay Daniel Rossen - Silent Hour / Golden Mile James Blake - CMYK James Blake - Klavierwerke James Blake - Enough Thunder
  16. Grizzly Bear - Shields Whoa. Just, whoa. Dinosaur Jr. - I Bet On Sky
  17. You don't get that same alienating yet warm feeling you get with the solo version. It's vital to the song.
  18. Calexico - Algiers How To Dress Well - Total Loss
  19. The xx - Coexist [with 6 different covers] Wild Nothing - Nocturne David Byrne & St. Vincent - Love This Giant Not as brilliant and amazing as I'd hoped. Maybe it's just me, but it sounds like it picked up on some 70s vibe that molested Leonard Cohen.
  20. Perhaps my favorite phase of Wilco, The post-SummerTeeth/YHF/LooseFur-LP1 phase. I really like this song. Still one of my favorite Wilco songs.
  21. Stars - The North Jens Lekman - I Know What Love Isn't
  22. Deerhoof - Breakup Song Cat Power - Sun Nothin' But Time sure does stretch the length of time for a good reason. The Avett Brothers - The Carpenter I don't understand why 90% of this board loves this band. The lyrics just screech corny, cheesy, and cringeworthy. I think they actually made this for Grey's Anatomy. And maybe it's just me, but they sound more like Mumford And Sons more than ever: that's a bad thing. On the plus side, they know their market.
  23. Yes, they are very funny. I'm saying examine as in "please study the following comedians before you try to assert your voice in disastrously horrible comedy where you have no control of English, or language, or vowels."
