wilco solid sound request thread first night

I sincerely hope it's not mostly covers. A few would be cool, but like you I'm hoping for some Wilco rarities. I'll be there regardless. -

Since we're talking Beatles, why not "She Said"? -
They're fairly distinctive. Red, white & blue pattern with Mast Brothers Solid Sound clearly marked on the front. By the way, probably in an effort to screw with people, the tinfoil inside is gold.

He's no Kool Moe Dee.

Dude, it's like you KNOW me!

$8.99 each. I felt like one of those "ballers" that today's teens are so keen on.

Well, my wife enjoyed hers. Bit salty for my taste. I guess the "sea salt" part of the description should have tipped me off.

Sadly, no. I already have tickets anyway - I was only in it for the chance to request a song. Best of luck to everyone else!

I just picked up two bars in Old Saybrook, CT.

Exactly.

That's a killer lineup. I have friends in Austin - might be time for a visit.

Wow, that's really nice of you - thanks! I'll be in touch.

That's good to hear. It doesn't entirely cancel out the "pay attention to me" factor, but it helps.

Ugh. You know, after hearing good things about Deerhunter for so long, I finally grabbed a couple of their albums last night. I was enjoying most of the music - interesting stuff - and then I read that interview. Cox comes across as an insufferable, attention-craving ass. I've known guys like him: always "on", thinking they're the new Oscar Wilde. They never shut up. Dickheads all. I'm going to continue delving into Deerhunter with the hope that his music isn't as artificial and contrived as his personality seems to be.

I'd say that's taking "not aging well" a bit far.

Thanks for the tip! The only thing that will keep me there is if there are reports of Jeff & co. Joining him on stage. Not betting on it, though.

Me too. I just couldn't help myself. I'm planning on staying for a bit of Dylan's set, then leaving to avoid that nightmare of a post-show parking lot.

That's what really blew me away too! His drums sound fantastic. I guess I'm usually paying attention to everything else. I love hearing all the puzzle pieces. -
This is really cool: http://www.thatericalper.com/2013/04/25/the-beatles-the-end-isolated-tracks/

Oh man, as if I wasn't excited enough already. Thanks Wilco Me. Also, I've been meaning to ask: How does the admission process work at S.S.? Do we keep our ticket stubs on us? Are there bracelets? Just curious.

Good tune! Thanks for that.
