  1. Stander was awesome the couple times I saw them play that one, Phil really seemed to get into it, I wish they kept both in rotation for the Hornsby years.
  2. Got right in for night three, GA floor all three nights, yahoo!!!
  3. Not yet, my GF couldn't get out of work, we'll drive down tonight, as soon as Bobby dropped out Friday night wasn't that important to me anyway. Will VC have any presence there, might be fun to get together for the two shows and hopefully the Nels sit in with Phil.
  4. I got my two GA for night one Cap, I was trying to grab a second GA for night two but only Balcony was coming up so I guess I'll save money and stick to the one for night two. If by some odd chance my GF completely falls in love with Wilco at Lockn' this weekend and just has to go to two shows on a work night two hours away I'll consider myself blessed and wait out Stub Hub until it's closer to the show and make the plunge for another.
  5. That's when I scored my one ticket for Night 2.
  6. Same messed up bad luck including having a ticket in my cart and then getting logged out randomly to only have the ticket gone by the time I logged back in, in the end I got shut out of Night 1 Cap and could only get one GA for Night 2 Cap. This was by far my worst Front Gate experience, I need a break now.
  7. I wonder if it's a seat location thing or a browser thing, I got Orch Cent, row k, which is about 18 rows back, it's where I like to be, but it's certainly not in the Pit. I used Firefox.
  8. Got my Northampton tickets! They only offered will call though, is this new?
  9. I agree, and like you it was The Replacements that got me on the Jeff train when Uncle Tupelo opened for them at Toad's in New Haven back in '91, and oh what a ride it's been
  10. Throw in Piper and we are singing the same song!
  11. I agree totally (it was intended to be silly), personally I prefer the Syd Floyd, but I love all eras of Floyd, I think Momentary Lapse is a great record, Delicate Sound is solid too as I saw that tour about 10 times. To try and say one Floyd isn't real Floyd is silly, they had so many changes is sound and style, I never understood why some people still consider post-Syd real Floyd but not post-Rog, it was Syd's band for cryin' out loud.
  12. My friend got kicked off the train in Brussles (whenever I hear Masterpiece now the line is "booted in Brussles") I gave him my sleeping bag and he used it for shelter for a while, now that I think of it I don't think I ever got that sleeping bag back, it took him a few weeks to get back to the States. Most of my stuff was stolen in Amsterdam, all my taping equipment, tapes of the shows, tickets for the rest of the shows, only things I had left were my clothes, passport, wallet and a bag of weed for Jerry, had to get a new plane ticket and Ferry ticket across to England, which they almost did
  13. Pearl Jam, Soldier Field 7/11, Eddie even talks about finding joints on the stage. I consider this how the Dead passed the torch to Pearl Jam.
  14. I see it more like this, while in the middle of working on the new Wilco record the love of Jeff's life got seriously ill, he is seeing things through a different light right now and thought it would be fun to work with his son during this deeply emotional time. I'm sure there is a little bit of a "I'm glad your mom gets to see this happen" going on.
  15. After Solid Sound they had the whole Americanarama tour and Austin City Limits with that awesome Stubbs show, I don't think they had shows since then though. I'm more then ready for Lockin', I don't care if they play the standard Whole Love set list both nights, I just want me some Wilco!
  16. I believe that Belew isn't a big fan of the larger band multiple drummer formats, so with this beast of a lineup I can see why he'd pass.
  17. I just put the show up on DIME, the link can be found "In A Future Age".
  18. I just put the show up on DIME, the link can be found "In A Future Age".
  19. I was at the show, you'll find most reviews in the "After The Show" section.
  20. Oh, you don't remember when Jeff went to jail, ya he was all doped up on heroin and got in a fight in a bar and killed some dude, he went to jail and his cellmate taught him to sing and play, he got out and became a rich and famous rock star.
  21. I thought it was a great venue, real nice staff, they let me go in to buy a poster then go back out to my car so I didn't have to lug it around. For me it was deja vu all over again, the last time I was in Baltimore I had the night off and went to Camden Yards, I was all excited because i was going to get a tour of the PA and control room yet when we get there the lights were out, the game started about 30 minutes late and they never did get all the lights back on, cool night though because I got to see Nomo pitch a no hitter! So having the electricity out again in Baltimore was weird. I sa
  22. I had it at one time, but it was on my IPod that fried, I could certainly use a new copy.
  23. I'm pretty sure that was webcast, I seem to remember listening to it at home, I thought two shows in a row were webcast, can't remember if it was Providence and Boston or Boston and New Hampshire.
