  1. The 90's shows had Entwistle, 'nuff said!
  2. Why sad? I'll admit it, I go to DMB shows, I enjoy their music, I'd much prefer for Wilco to stay where they are, smaller shows, less hassle, nicer venues... Wealthy? Now that's a hard one, but I guess it's best to but a framework around it, they are working musicians, they are not hauling their own equipment around and struggling to get people to come to their shows, however they are also not selling billions of records and getting $600/seat to play stadiums and huge arenas. So to put it in that scale I'd say they are comfortably in between starving Musician (on the one extreme) and Mick
  3. Great show and some great reviews, I'd like to point out that I'm not so sure most people were there to see Dylan, by the second half of Dylan's set the place had significantly cleared out, I'd say less people saw the end of Dylan's set then saw the beginning of Wilco's, which surprised me. My Morning Jacket were great, they had a nice groove going their whole set, Wilco were obviously the highlight, I loved the looks on the faces of the people who were clearly not familiar with Wilco, you could just see them becoming more and more into it ;^) I've seen Dylan many times over the years, he's
  4. I actually think the Arena holds more people then the Stadium does, it's a small Independent league minor league park.
  5. These are PIT tickets, no PDFs, I need to show up with proof of ID and get escorted to the door or something :^(
  6. I have two tix in the pit for this show and now it's looking like I can't make it, does anyone know if/how you can transfer these or if worst case scenario I can just cancel them?

    Wilco Book CD

It's actually one of my favorite Wilco records!!! Mostly instrumental, extremely experimental
  8. DARK STAR!!! That was my Friday night request! Actually I had 3 from three different computers, Dark Star, Down By The River and Kingpin.
  9. Man, they keep asking me to do work here, don't they get it!
  10. Let's just get to the good part, let's just skip ahead!
  11. Congrats, you'll love the Tweedy SG, I love mine to death. I have all three Tweedys and I'm not really a signature guy either, but each one has it's spot, for the Breedlove I was really Jonesin' for a small bodied 12-fret, I had a Martin 000 12 fret that I really loved but something didn't feel right with it and out of no where the Breedlove showed up. I'll give you the headstock may be a bit much, but I've grown use to it and actually love how intricate and detailed it is. I was looking for an all HOG because my guitar teacher had one and I just loved the dark woody sound and then the Mart
  12. Starting to look like I'm going solo this year, not sure what to make of that yet, but as you know every year at Mass MoCA has been an up or down with regards to who I go with and stuff, so maybe solo is the way to go. Interestingly enough, today would have been my wedding anniversary and I just noticed that now.
  13. Good luck with your sale, what an awesome guitar, I have #4 of 25 and it would be close to impossible to part with it.
  14. So the other day at work was a hell day, systems bit the dust and it took over 20 hours to get everything back online. Every time my boss came by to check on things he would say "hey that sounds good, what is it?", it was always Wilco, today he tells me he just picked up 5 of Wilco discs! Kinda made it all worth it, although I wouldn't turn down a raise also.
  15. Hold on there, The Dead had a whole segment in later years that fell between Drums and Space, Mickey would be done with his little thing and there would be a few minutes where it was essentially Bob Bralove (midi engineer, back stage) and Dan Healy and later John Cutler (FOH) generating all the sounds you heard until Jerry came out. With Crazy Horse there are times when Larry Cragg (Neil's guitar tech) is on the side of the stage playing around on piano or something. Point being, it happens, it's just the way it is.
  16. Plus it's across the street from my work and on a Friday, I know where Happy Hour will be!!!
  17. The web site just started working!!!
  18. Same here, this has got to be the worst web site known to man!!!
  19. So Bridgeport was listed as a presale of 4/30 and still is 4/30 on the Wilco site, but the Dylan site has the date now listed at 5/1, hmmmm.
  20. Dylan actually has security clear the hallways and you are told to stay in your rooms when he comes and goes just to make sure he doesn't meet anyone even though the only people there are on the frickin' tour. Contrast that to James Brown who grabbed a chair, sat on the side of the stage while we were setting up and even sound checked his vocal mic, the Organ, Bass and one of the drum sets.
  21. Not that it means anything, but the wilcoworld site has them listed on all three days of SS, I don't remember that being the case last time I checked a week or so ago, I also don't remember that being the case in previous years, but I'm getting old and my memory isn't, what was I saying again, oh never mind.
  22. The way I see it I've seen Dylan way to many times already so unless I hear that Jeff has been sitting in on shows I'm using that 90 minutes to beat traffic. The thing is outside of our world they are saying "sure maybe I'll go in and catch MMJ or Wilco, but odds are I'm hanging in the lot until Dylan comes on".
