It was better then I could have imagined, he obviously worked on it because it was beautiful, why he considers it a "bathroom break" song I don't know, I thought it went over very well, the audience certainly went nuts, I think he should keep it in the list ;^) I was taping and so was another VC member, I'm waiting to hear which one came out better, in the mean time I'll work on getting night one out there.

I had to request it both nights just to hear it, I guess he thought I was joking the first night. He played it great, it went over well and I can't see why it's not played more often, that is one awesome song.

I was 30th in line and I requested Wherever, completely blown off, I'm never gonna hear him play that song :^( I'll try again tomorrow. The recording does sound pretty good though.

I just flew in from CT, I called the Vic and they tell me "no audio", what's up with that, he says he's looking at the sheet for tonights show, it also says cameras are allowed, WTF, I think they got it backwards.

Well I've been saving money for the SG for a while, but when it was announced today that these are actually going to be a 2 year limited run and who knows how many they will actually make I had to shift gears. I put a deposit on the Martin today, I'm told it's #10, oh man I can't wait!

What is the taping policy for these shows, does The Vic allow taping, how about mic stands? If I sat in the mezzanine would I be able to tape my mics to the front of balcony or hang them off the front banister? I'm flying in and not even renting a car, so I'd actually rather no bring a mic stand, is anyone going that I could possibly piggy-back off of?

That was my experience with the Central Park shows, I had extras for both nights, I sold one to a VCer, sold a couple below face on the street, and ate the rest, couldn't even give them away.

Taping, hmmm, hadn't thought of that ;^) If the balcony is not "Gold" I was thinking I would get to compare a FOBoard & a FOBalcony show how's that for an answer. Now I guess I need to work on finding a place to stay, is there a VC favorite hotel/motel for a gathering of out of towners?

My turntable hasn't been hooked up in close to 20 years, does anybody know where I might be able to find a version of I Might & Art Of Almost from this release that I can listen too?
