  3. well now... November 24, 1979 is a darn good show! https://archive.org/details/gd1979-11-24.mtx.seamons.113741.flac16
  4. From: http://www.si.com/tennis/2015/06/08/novak-djokovic-french-open-roger-federer-rafael-nadal-grand-slams Despite failing to win the French Open final on Sunday, top-ranked Novak Djokovic is still the most dominant player in men's tennis. Stan Wawrinka thoroughly dismantled the Serb at Roland Garros, winning 4–6, 6–4, 6–3, 6–4, but barring unforeseen circumstances, Djokovic will still likely be the favorite entering both Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. Djokovic, 28, is third among active players in terms of Grand Slam titles with eight, behind Roger Federer (17) and Rafael Nadal (14). Dj
  5. Wawrinka really played the best through the tournament. Federer was really looking strong heading into QFs and Stan easily beat him... Feel bad for Djokovich kind of...He finally beat Nadal on clay and then Murray...but probably underestimated Stan... Grass season starts this week... Camila giorgi already won today... top 3 picks for wimbledon: nishikori, federer, and djokovich...
  6. French Open 2015 - With Federer and Nishikori out, I guess I'm rooting for Djokovich...maybe he'll get the calender slam?
  7. I guess i'm in a minority but I think the 10.15.1977 show (or at least the Peggy through OMSN) is the best jamming of the Dead in 1977... https://archive.org/details/gd1977-10-15.sbd.129898.MrBill.flac16
  8. Yup....I'd listen to second set of 10.15.1977 though...or 5.19.1977 second set...
  9. July 7, 1989 was arguably the best show of 1989 (from opening note of set 1 through last note of encore)...
  10. I think the Sans Garcians would have been better off if they had picked one guitar player (Herring? Warren?) and just stuck with him. The constant switching of lead guitar players made the sound uneven and tentative. I saw them with Herring in 2002? (summerfest milwaukee) and Weir seemed to be leading the direction of the jams. it was odd - that is not his role or talent. I don't know - i just never found the variant strains of the Sans Garcians to be all that interesting. It almost is like a Dead cover band...
