  1. I'll be there! I'll have camera, I'll take pics. Will I be working? Define 'work'... charles
  2. The photos up on WilcoWorld are in Flash both for protection issues as well as viewing convenience. Each of us own the rights to our own work. That being said, I don't mind personal use such as Desktop or Screensaver, though I frown on distribution w/o permission. I occasionally offer prints for sale to those who request them. If I didn't reply once, I apologize. Like most of us, Wilco is for fun and real work sometimes interferes. I don't recommend screen captures mainly because the image resolution at WilcoWorld is only 600 x 900 pix, not good enough to fill the screen on even the smallest o
  3. That was me. Glad you like. Here's some from both Rwanda and Ethiopia.... Link Here Contact me for usage information, tell me about the project and your intended use and distribution of the images.
  4. Thank you all for the warm compliments. For me, YOU are as much a part of the whole experience as the band. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy the band were they to play to an empty theater (I was fortunate enough to see them do Pieholden 3 times that way during soundcheck) I may not post often, nor can I match Paul and his likes in attendance, but I'm as diehard as the rest of you. That little run of shows was one of the highlights of my life. Thanks to the band and their crew for the warm hospitality and extraordinary access. By the way, Wilco is the ONLY band I ever photograph. While
  5. In lieu of the daunting task of editing shots of the band, I've just put up some shots of you instead. Check these out.... charles
  6. I probably drank beer with you in the pre-line at Norva. Fond remembrances can be seen Here and Here too charles
  7. I can't speak of Hawaii, never been. However, I've been to the Caribbean dozens of times to dozens of islands. I've never vacationed there, though. A close, quiet island is Harbour Island, Bahamas. Off the island of Eleuthera. It's been more than 7 years since I've been, so it may have grown up since. At the time, it was wonderfully quiet and simple. There's really nothing to do at all. Beach, swim, snorke, stroll, nap, etc. They do have horses on the island if that were of interest. It's more like an actual village than going to someplace like Nassau or whatever. The beaches are great and

    Pics of Jeff

That was me, and Here they are. I just happened to tune in tonight while internetting (can you say 'addicted'?). I'm actually on location in Europe. You won't believe my schedule this month, multiple locations in Europe, tomorrow Brazil, then South Africa, then India, then Singapore, then San Francisco, then East Coast US. Don't expect me to tune in anytime soon again. Though you never know, right now I'm uploading preview jpegs to client back in the States, I love my Mac and the internet I did mention I might post some more at some point, once again, don't hold breath. Maybe in a couple
  9. Thanks to all for the kind words. It was fun. I'm glad y'all feel I 'captured' Jeff. He was really easy to work with, I think he had fun. Lots of laughs. Yeah, my assistant Dan worked out well. I didn't know him at all, called him from a list of assistants I had. Let's see, there were a few questions up there... what do i shoot with? Canon DSLR. I favor very fast wides. Africa, what was that about? I went to shoot for a relief organization that is re-doing their whole 'look'. Basically, they just wanted beautiful shots of the people, not starving kids and whatnot. I was taken all over to v
  10. Thanks for the kind words.. He said 'I hold my guitar like a smelly diaper". I went to Rwanda and Ethiopia on assignment. It was health care/humanitarian related. We went to a bunch of clinics and saw some serious shit. I try to focus on dignity and beauty rather than desperation. I also hiked into the jungle and saw these guys charles
  11. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Jeff in Chicago. Here's a few from that session. It was fun, I was with Jeff for about 1/2 a day. We shot in Millennium Park. Jeff was great fun, very cooperative. Lot

  14. Well, I've not won any contests or anything. But I seem to find Wilco wherever I travel. Once, at the Taj Mahal, those guys came out of nowhere and bullied their way into my photo while I was trying to get a shot of me at that famous 'bench'. Then there was the time I saw Jeff doing the Hummingbird on a remote beach in Ireland... Oh, no photoshop of course Pics Here charles
  15. Looks like you were behind me a bit at Wm & Mary. See yourself?
