  1. To be honest I have had enough of acoustic guitar. arrangements at the moment. I need something loud, upbeat/popish and exciting.
  2. Ta. (Though I haven't sent you an email for a download and am not sure I will, I salute your effort for the community)
  3. Glenn Richards says yes (he had a solo album recently too but I prefer the full band). You got the last one Bootikins? Really like "I Hurtle Back to a Conservative Locker" from that one too.
  4. Just a few minutes ago had my Earth Day 1990 t-shirt in my hands. A friend sent it to me from the US - I had never heard of Earth Day then. It was still seeing good service until about 18 months ago when there were a few too many holes. It's now in pieces as a general purpose garage rag/paint brush cleaning cloth P.S. That is not me or my actual t-shirt, but same design.
  5. Augie March e.g. from the last one, just poignant & gorgeous:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6iTNv0p-Do
  6. "All hands on neck!" shouted Capo Jack Sparrow. etc.

  8. That's great - thanks! "Scholarly too much and not playing music enough" - love it. And I will check out that Twin/Tone link with you as my Plan B
  9. Found one of my reviews from way back when people wrote reviews other than Wilco reviews. I miss seeing Ms Yvon around the place. Wonder what happened to that Doris Day and bacon aficionado. She too enjoyed partaking of the JoJo magic.
  10. I LOVE Jonathan Richman. Few people in this world make me smile just at the mention of their name. And the next minute he can have me welling up. Rockin' and Romance is one of my favourite albums, even though I don't own it anymore. I can still sing it to myself.
  11. The Whole Love - a lot of which I (rightly or wrongly) attribute to Pat's input to the production. Some of the other albums seem a bit muffled to my ears (so kill me).
  12. The Terror. Nicely atmospheric and I like the cool blue and blue/black colour palette
  13. https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/tvandradioblog/2015/aug/10/david-nobbs-reginald-perrin-drama-sitcom Some good soul has put them on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS7VWQfelyM&list=PLm-XJrnsc1Gq81E1kDjfB9cvALgEIbg9l
  14. The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin - Series 1 A very welcome reshowing on Auntie Beeb of the iconic late 70s surreal comedy starring Leonard Rossiter. The series that spawned the most quotable lines for schoolboys in the period between Monty Python and The Fast Show. ("I didn't get where I am today ...", "Great/Super", "Cock up on the ... front", etc.) Even stranger to me now that I live amongst some of the locations when at the time it was all off in that far off land of London commuter belt, not to mention now being of an age to appreciate a mid life crisis (Have neve
  15. Leaked? What with all that beer . . .
  16. Really not what I was expecting - I had you down for some kind of blue yodel. I must have you all wrong!
  17. Amazing Grace - film of the Aretha Franklin gospel concert.
  18. Finally, a pay-per-view idea that I could really get behind.
  19. The Serpent. Slowish scene setting couple of first episodes, but tension soon builds.
  20. The Hill My favourite Sean Connery film, or tied with The Man Who Would Be King. Don't think I've see it since I was a kid, when it had a big impact on me. Nice camera work. Paul McCartney at the Cavern Club Spiral Last ever series of the flic-nor starts tonight. Edit: Still so good. Auntie Beeb has all previous series on iPlayer now. May have to go through them all again if lockdown continues.
  21. Enjoyed that sneak peek. I remember the days when someone taking a photo/cinefilm was infrequent enough to be an 'event' so people goofed around for the photo.
  22. And I can here JT's response in kind:- . . . And I-I-I will always be the man who loves you-oo-oo, always
