  2. FYI, the other (unused) calibrations are No and Maybe.
  3. Feel the latest album suffers from the lack of an acronym. In this Tik-Tok age that just doesn't cut it for me, so it has to be judged on that basis. AM BT ST YHF AGIB SBS WTA TWL SW WS OTJ CC C
  4. 1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Yes 4. Yes 5. Yes 6. Yes 7 Yes 8. Yes 9. Yes 10. Yes! Yes! Yes! Nice to hear a brighter, more diverse aural palette employed (back to Whole Love territory - which is a good thing). Nothing that I don't like (which is rare) but also nothing on first listen that immediately reaches up to the greatest heights of past favourites. Feel like there could be some growers though so not ruling that out (check back for an update if you can be arsed . . .). Overall pretty happy after the past few albums.
  5. Ta(lsa) P.S. I did notice that you had initially mis-spelt Soldier Child, but decided not to pick you up on it after all you do for the cause.
  6. RWC of course. So Wales dominated Australia. That makes it Wales and our spirit brothers Fiji qualifying from our group in the dream scenario for the quarter finals in 3 weeks (couple more rounds of group games to go - 1 more versus Georgia for Wales which is inconsequential to our qualification). Happy days. P.S. Especially since Fiji will play England in their quarter final (and they beat them at Twickenham just before the RWC in a warm up game).

  8. Meanwhile, a bad day in Oz after losing to Fiji. All depends on the match with us next weekend. https://youtu.be/Rhbvwunt_hU?si=3-hRG3DaTn9s880O This passionate fan goes ballistic as the minutes go on. Hilarious. More f***s than Nothings JT has ever managed.
  9. Ha! That sounds like a plan. I know a nice place in Shirakawa-go. I too can play weird guitar (I.e. not play at all) and am pretty sure I’d make a good fist of ruining any record you point me at, so we’re bound to get on.
  10. Dear Wilco. Please book Augie March in support with a contractual ‘best of’ set list (contact me for detailed list). Then I will have to travel to Australia. Ta, Albert
  11. Thank you. From Lake Akan to Ibusuki (plus the two sets of islands I mentioned last time). Overall just about our favourite country!
  12. Been to Kotohira and Ritsurin garden but that is all on Shikoku. Yes the temples/trails there are famous and would love to do them. We have only done a couple of day walks in places like Mount Haguro, Koyasan and Yama-dera. We were going to walk that trail at Tsumago in March but the weather was too wet/cold for it to be enjoyable so we carried on the Hirayu Onsen - nice to be warm in the middle of the snow!
  13. It's a long long way for a couple of shows. I am not Bbop We would go again sometime. If it coincided that would be great, but then we tend to stay outside Tokyo/Osaka. Don't like big cities and the Japanese countryside is so wonderful. We have stayed in Tokyo for a few days to see the sights but last time did not stop there at all. Closest I have stayed to Osaka is Nara, though I was passing though Osaka in March and a couple of hours in the main railway station complex felt like hell on earth. Just like BladeRunner. It was probably an extra shock as we had just flown back to the mainland a
  14. Happy for you too! Was in Japan in March for 3rd time. We were happy to see cherry blossom season for the first time in Kinosaki Onsen.
  15. We made it by the skin of our teeth. Great match for the neutral too. I was encouraged by our display after the past year. Want to see Fiji get through though - they could well beat the Aussies.
  16. Ta. Ha! Pre match nerves mean I'm up early. Thanks for some great tour reporting. Hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we all appreciate your work. P.S. Only (public school) English use the term 'rugger'. For Welsh it's a definite no-no and liable to get you some funny looks in the pub, if not an outside-round-the-back beating. It's been good so far. Initial glee at an Englishman being sent off after 3 minutes last night gave way to a growing disappointment with the Pumas (still best kit in rugby after Cardiff RFC and old memories of seeing Hugo Porta play for the Barb
