I'm just finally getting around to my viewing after download... first of all, what an incredible thrill seeing that whole album is. I gotta believe they are going to be doing the full album first- hopefully for the rest of the Summer & ensuing "Star Wars" tour... I'm not complaining, just reporting... turbulence in my vid from 46:24 to 46:45- anyone else having this too? If not, then maybe I should try downloading again? In the audio file it's at 1:37 of "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart"

The email was about the change for who was handling the pre-sale... when you went & registered there, & I assume you can use another email to open the Wilco ticket centered account with them, is when you got the message, but... One way or another folks here will clearly have you covered for getting the music. No worries.

OK. That makes sense...I've seen that done before. I've read a few things about stories about records that sounded great at the wrong speeds. Greil Marcus once had some record/song appear twice in his "Real Life Top Ten" column with the wrong at the wrong speed charting higher & better. I remember it myself playing a Waterboys 12-inch single B-side "Medicine Jack" (B-side for "The Whole Of The Moon") at 33 instead of 45 & adoring how the groove & horns sounded more at the wrong speed...

WOW!!! Has anyone made any files yet?

At first I figured we'd just get a coupon for a free mp3 version of any Roadcase...but now... after reading this- "Thank you for signing up. You will be receiving an exclusive free Roadcase in your email within the next week."... I'm thinking that they may just make the Pitchfork show (a short one though it was) the "exclusive" free Roadcase show!!! I really hope this ends up the case. Wondering if we'll be able to get ALAC (my preferred version) & FLAC versions of whatever show it is?

The link below is different from the one above, & it came from an Italian fan (with an Italian facebook Wilco fan group- https://www.facebook...ps/81904083870/) who posted it on the facebook group "A Shot In The Arm: the Wilco Fan Group". It's in one full piece (rather than 10 like the one above), & it appears to have no glitches or dropout so far (I'm in as far as "Handshake Drugs"- so I can say, for sure, that all the "Star Wars" material is perfect). From what I understand about the other one up here (in 10 sections) is that there are some issues with it involving some glitches et

It had to happen, & I'm glad that it's such well done fun... the feel good hit of the Summer...the latest chapter of the continuing adventures of Chicago's favorite Sonic Jedi's! May The Force Be With You! Indeed... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5huDrE_AOs And for the record, while wildly passionate about those & that which I love... I'm no knee-jerk fanboy. Plenty of artists I adore have put out lesser, even lousy, works & when that happens I just sigh & call it for what it is. So I can say that I prefer Wilco to Uncle Tupelo, & that the Uncle Tupelo albums, for me, ge

Right On!!! Enjoy! Think you've just inspired me to dig out my Casino today & show it some love... Your "Jazzmaster with P-90's"... is that a J Mascis's model? I know they have different non-regular Jazzmaster, P-90's in them, stock from Fender. I have a friend who has one & it's his fave Jazzmaster ever. I'm getting Seymour Duncan Antiquity (Antiquity 1's- the kind like the late 50's pickups, like Nel's Black '59... II's are more like the 60's ones) pickups put in mine- they are on order & should be in this next week!

On the Tweedy tour he started out with about an album's worth of new songs & it involved more actual time. I really, Really, REALLY hope that they continue to begin the rest of the upcoming scheduleled shows by playing the whole album, start to finish. It's an album that really works flow, song placement wise etc. to unfold pretty perfect as a sort of first mini-set. I guess I'll be at the Toronto show now regardless, knowing that they'll be doing plenty of this. This show just has to be archived. REALLY hope they release this as a Roadcase tomorrow!!!! It'll be all over the place file wi

WILCO REPORT: TONIGHT!! Wilco live at the Pitchfork Fest with an 9:30 P.M. EST live simulcast stream. "As for their headlining set at Pitchfork tonight, Wilco will be offering fans an extremely unique opportunity in their set. Tweedy reveals, “we’re going to play the record start to finish tonight.” He explains that he wants people to hear the record in its entirety. He says, “that’s one of the reasons we wanted to release it this way. We wanted people to hear the whole record first.”. I was driving, on the way from Rochester to Cleveland to see The Mekons, when we got the call about this sweetest of Summer surprises ("All the young dudes carry the news" indeed!). I went straight into the office, arriving around dawn (with my first patient in at 9:00) & have been listening to it all this, oh what a beautiful morning!! Still so much to digest, but Wow!!! So much to love & so many amazing twists in turns in it's 34 minute run. So excited to spend to weekend getting to know this album!! Thanks Team Wilco for the absolute joy & fun of the surprise part & more so

Right on. Is your Les Paul a humbucker or P-90 model? If you're looking for a hollow body, I'd go with whatever you don't have with the Les Paul (if your LP is P-90, go for the humbucker driven Sheraton...if your LP is humbucker, then go for a P-90 powered Casino (the Elitists are great...the John Lennon Signature Model is harder to find, let alone at a great price...)... Haver fun shopping & good luck!!! And just for the record here, I have lots of guitars partially because I waited & watched & tried loads out until I found guitars that were... a) at a great price (great deals =

Ever consider an SG? Or even an ES-335 (or 345 or 355 etc., etc., or if you want P-90 sound an ES-330 or Epiohone Casino?)? I started with a Strat & added a Les Paul that I soon sold & replaced with a Jazzmaster. Those were my two electrics for many years (along with a Rick 360-12)... long story, after having to sell all my instruments around 2000, I finally went out &, over a few years, bought my personal dream guitar arsenal over these last couple years. I'm still more of a Fender guy, but less of a margin than before. Having the chance I Fender'd first (Strat, Jazzmaster &am

I've just started working in an acoustic duo (& will be playing solo some too soon)...and... Rochester's George Eastman House just purchased a print of "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart". They contacted me to play acoustic, both before & after the showing, & then lined up a date at a local club for me for after the show. Great folks (thanks Ben Tucker- You Rock!!), so it looks like I'll be trying to get together a full electric band for that (October 3rd)! I'll do some of my originals too (at the show at the club), but will be doing songs from the film & album the film is about

Now available as Roadcase #48... and in a discount bundled price with Solid Sound Night #1 (All Acoustic) Roadcase #47...

Well maybe it's because they were, originally, apparently, saving it for night #2- as it was on the set list as one of the 4 encore songs of the sadly aborted due to the weather second encore that never happened ("Be Not So Fearful", "Thirteen", "Spiders (Kidsmoke)" & "Dreamer In My Dreams")... Although I agree that it's absolutely dynamite as either an acoustic or electric song. The only they appear to have, kind of, repeated, is that they did the two different versions of "Kamera" (acoustic) & "Camera" (electric)...
