  1. I'd bet heavily against it... the only odd one out to make it was Knoxville, TN... then it's the 3 show Port Chester, NY shows, which end up as a real teaser for the 6 night run in Chicago!! Wise move on Wilco's part planning wise. I think everything that's going to be released from the 20th Anniversary shows is up & 10 shows is pretty great- especially with those set lists!!! Can't wait to see if they make a run at the whole catalog in Chicago!! I don't think they will... think we'll see some repeated songs over the 6 nights, but not a whole lot... Didn't they do a Chicago run a few yea
  2. Maybe someone can correct that...thanks for catching it... I put the thread up late at night & was pretty tired... Town Hall, at the least the one I know, is in NYC...must of have been where the glitch occurred for me... Great show & so glad to have it as a Roadcase!!
  3. Not just as I'd hoped & prayed it would be...but even better than I'd hoped & prayed for...thank you Lotti!!! YOU ROCK!!!
  4. On the plus side I agree that "A.M." is a great album, truly great. Both "A.M." & "Trace" feel like logical extensions of what was happening in Uncle Tupelo with "Anodyne" (my favorite Uncle Tupelo album). As much as I do dig some Son Volt, in the great first album sweepstakes, while I think "Trace" is certainly a terrific album (either their best, or at least as great an album as they've/he's done.), I'm part of what is apparently a minority, when I say, that I prefer "A.M." without question. Inversely to Son Volt's career trajectory, & with all I just said, I also think that this gr
  5. Happy 20th Anniversary! All 3 Port Chester shows, & yes Virginia/rhino4evr there is a ... a Roadcase release for each & every one of the 6 upcoming Chicago Winterlude shows (Roadcase #40-45)!!! Available for pre-order like Nowsville! http://wilco.kungfustore.com/roadcase.html
  6. "Honey Combed" for me (probably my fave on the album), but it just edges "Flowering" & "Summer Noon" on this one...
  7. The MP3 option for the Buffalo show is now available... Apparently both of the nights of 2013 Solid Sound (the 1st night of covers & the 2nd night of all Wilco material) are missing now? The covers one has been MIA for awhile now, but I don't know what's up with this situation at all? At least they are not editing out all the songs from "Wilco (The Album)" out of the Roadcase releases anymore...but now this mystery of whatever happened to Roadcase #18 & 19? I have them both, but those files are on another computer, but hopefully someone here will hear your plea & PM you about it.
  8. Now available for pre-order at Roadcase #37...in fact all 3 Port Chester shows, Knoxville, & all 6 Chicago Winterlude shows are now available as pre-orders, thus making up Roadcases #36-45...Happy Wilco's 20th Anniversary!!
  9. Now available for pre-order at Roadcase #38...in fact all 3 Port Chester shows, Knowxville, & all 6 Chicago Winterlude shows are now available as pre-orders, thus making up Roadcases #36-45...Happy Wilco's 20th Anniversary!!
  10. Now available for pre-order at Roadcase #39...in fact all 3 Port Chester shows, Knowxville, & all 6 Chicago Winterlude shows are now available as pre-orders, thus making up Roadcases #36-45...Happy Wilco's 20th Anniversary!!

  13. I'm sure there will 20th Anniversary Show Roadcase Releases... my bet, & hope, is for the full 6 nights of Winterlude...but...I'd love the 3 Port Chester shows (since those are the ones I went to)... wonder how many different songs will be getting done for these shows? Nice to see them reaching for some deep oddities (thank you "Alpha Mike Foxtrot" Box Set!) & doing back to back shows with no repeats at all...Port Chester was one repeat, & 89 different songs over the course of the three nights!!! Also wondering if we'll get any more Tweedy Roadcase releases before the tour ends...h
  14. Interesting... originally a 31 song set list, instead of the usual 30 so far this time out...
  15. What was the song that got repeated?... I didn't catch it...
  16. My hope/prediction for these shows now is that, with 30 songs a night, over 6 nights, that we might actually get every song they've ever recorded on all their officially released albums, & then some with rarities, covers etc. . While they will end up with 3 nights of 30 songs a night, with no repeats, for the Port Chester run, I'm not as sure that they will choose to sustain the no repeat thing for the full six nights here- though I think technically between their full official recorded catalog, all the non-album tracks, & covers they know that they could certainly pull this off. It wo
  17. Excited to find out what the third one was!!!! Just got in... Onwards to Port Chester X3!!!
  18. Nice to see them reaching for some deep oddities (thank you "Alpha Mike Foxtrot" Box Set!) & doing back to back shows with no repeats at all...truly hoping for a threepeat of no repeats with all 3 nights of the Port Chester shows!! Also wondering if we'll get any more Tweedy Roadcase releases before the tour ends...he
  19. Right On!!!! Live version of "Pigeons", "Please Don't Let Me Be So Understood", "Why Why Why", "Only The Lord Knows", "Love Like A Wire" & "Give Back The Key To My Heart"!!! Truly a great show...I saw 4 on this tour (Baltimore, Washington D.C., Ithaca & Buffalo) & half of them (D.C. & Buffalo) make up 2/3 of the Tweedy Roadcase releases, so far, from the tour. Very lucky indeed. Wonder if there will be any more from this leg or not... just glad to have those new live songs officially released... Recorded live at The Town Ballroom in Buffalo, NY on October 1, 2014: 01 - Nobody D
  20. Nothing off the last two Wilco albums...but night #1 had 5 songs from "The Whole Love" & 2 songs from "Wilco (The Album)". And more importantly... NO REPEATED SONGS!!!! So far 60 songs with no repeats... Hoping for 90 songs with no repeats at the three Port Chester/Capitol Theater shows!!!!
  21. It's tough choosing & don't get me wrong, I do love "A.M.", a whole lot too, just a little less so than the other albums. I think the other three songs are terrific, they just aren't as essential for me I guess. They also have to balance things material wise too. I just thought 4 from "A.M." & only 3 from each of the last 3 seemed off to me, but that's me. And they are on different CD's, so how they are fighting for space is also different. While I get that "Red-Eyed & Blue" & "I Got You" are companion pieces, & it's certainly a fine song, there are just a few other "Being
  22. That's what I was guessing too...& I was just trying to find a "20" for each CD & it was more like trying to choose between 20...too many great tracks from too many great albums...what I was writing was an overpopulated mess. I know they divided things up in halves (5 albums for each CD: AM. BT (2), Mermaid Ave. albums (add up to 1) & "Summerteeth" vs. YHF, AGIB, SBS, WTA, & TWL), & tried to be even handed & chronological with things... but... the material from "A.M." & "Mermaid Ave", as fine as those are, seems over-represented compared to the short shrift given
  23. Getting to one of these hallowed, & rightly legendary "Chicago Residency" stands is a future dream, but one that requires a lot of factors to all come into synch, & this was just not one of them. I gotta say that having them play 3 nights in a row in the NYC/Tri-State area (last time with 2 Prospect Park & 1 Terminal 5), such as the trio of Port Chester shows that I'm going to, makes for a pretty nice consolation prize.
  24. That!! With kudos to "Robby" & his quoting of this & responding thusly with "This." The task of any kind of best of (2 CDs & 38 songs) involving a catalog that is at this level, is as great as it is impossible.
