  1. I truly think the Grammys may as well be called the Shammys, as they are such a total sham...but...I now I'm in a minority when I say I think that the last three Wilco albums might be their best three, and that the last two are my favorite two, and "The Whole Love" is my absolute favorite...so since my other favorite album this last year, Paul Simon's "So Beautiful Or So What" shockingly wasn't nominated (since he's done with this crowd in the past & it was all over the top of most critic's polls) I'm rooting for Wilco, as much as one can root for a system/show they don't believe in... As
  2. OK I just downloaded Chrome, and I still can't get in!! The best I can get is this " "This is Google's cache of http://sooutoftune.org/ . It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on Feb 8, 2012 01:43:03 GMT. The current page could have changed in the meantime. Learn more" I get to the "cached" page & can see what it looked like then, but can't interface with anything from it. Too bad. Is the deal that I have to keep loading this for a week on that browser? I really appreciate the effort, and am far from tech savvy, but the set up on this seems, to put it diplomatically, quest
  3. Yeah, I try every day & it's now gotten worse, and reached that same point when I try too...hope this sorts itself out at some point...
  4. Me neither...think I've tried hundreds of times at this point...and so it goes...or doesn't actually
  5. Although the Massachusetts date hasn't been specifically announced, since I know that's happening & it's within 5-6 hours I'm counting on that one as the first of as many as I can get to...meeting an old Bass player of mine there...and then anything I can get to within 5-6 hours...
  6. Still doesn't work for me from either home or work computer...and I've tried linking here, on the Wilco facebook page & just by tying in the address...really hope the bugs get worked out sooner than later...appreciate the effort though...& good luck ironing out the bugs & all...
  7. A few things...on Pitchfork- some writers better than others...and I've read some stuff there, but overall it seems like a hipster's ghetto. As far as their ratings for Wilco's catalog. It's all subjective, lets get that out of the way, but to me they are beyond laughable. Since Wilco's founding in the early 90's, I'd say there are scant few bands whose catalog from this time is even near to in their class...for me that'd be primarily Yo La Tengo, & The Flaming Lips... For the record the two albums from this era that I can say, without hesitation that I'd put up with any of my favorite Wil
  8. Oops- thanks bbop...Here's the corrected juxtaposition of full setlist played at taping & broadcast setlist And here is the correct setlist... 1-One Sunday Morning> 2-Poor Places> 3-Art Of Almost 4-I Might 5-Black Moon IATTBYH> 6-One Wing 7-Bull Black Nova 8-Radio Cure 9-Shouldn't Be Ashamed 10-Open Mind 11-Born Alone 12-Jesus, etc. 13-Capitol City 14-War On War 15-Dawned On Me 16-Hummingbird ------------------------ 17-Whole Love 18-Impossible Germany 19-Far, Far Away 20-The Late Greats 21-Heavy Metal Drummer 22-Cruel To Be Kind [Nick Lowe] (w/Nick Lowe on acoustic guitar and
  9. Oops "Black Moon" WAS in the show...I wrong listed it as a song I'd have liked to have seen them possibly include in the broadcast...oh well... speaking of which my fave older songs that I'd like to have take the spot of the Nick Lowe performance would have been ones that weren't on previous broadcasts..."I'm Always In Love", "I Got You (At The End Of The Century)", "Outtasite (Outta Mind)", "Heavy Metal Drummer".("Reservations", "Box Full Of Letters", "Misunderstood", "Pot Kettle Black", "She's A Jar", "I'll Fight" & "Red Eyed & Blue" are also great & have never been on a broadcas
  10. First of all- GREAT SHOW!! I know someone posted it earlier, but I'm going to include the link to the freshly archived new ACL episode & a few other links to hour long, or longer shows... I'm also listing the broadcast setlist vs. the actual setlist. Don't get me wrong I'm a huge Nick Lowe fan & I really appreciate them having the love & respect they do for him to have included a song of his within an 11 song broadcast, but in retrospect I REALLY would have much rather seen one of the more than a dozen Wilco songs that were edited out...I I think I would have preferred what I think
  11. ACL preview video of full performance of "War On War"!!
  12. Can't get to the website at all...from this link, or from the one provided on the facebook group page. I'm hoping that all the newness wrinkles get ironed out easily for you & wanted to say, first & foremost- THANKS!! And to wish you luck with your efforts! Blessings Of Love & Light To You & Yours & All!!
  13. Great news! I hope this does well enough that they consider releasing a live album next year...and/or a series of live shows available from their new label!! Mine is pre-ordered & ready to go-go!!
  14. Do you have the crop circle one? http://wilco.kungfustore.com/category/38-posters/product/3289-crop-circles-poster-wil475
  15. I know they did an Austin City Limits & all...but I'd really like to see a nice DVD/CD set. Great chance for the new label too. The last live, "Kicking Television" is old enough now to warrant a new volume...especially with how varied their set lists are...I'd be hoping for a triple live CD, priced at a nice double CD price...but hey that's just my personal hope. Any official documentation from this tour would be appreciated. I think "The Whole Love" is both my favorite, and their strongest release, and they did plenty of songs from the album on this last tour (just like they did lots of t
  16. It's not so much much that it be real old, or even how old...just old enough, shirt wise, to not be from the current run of too long KungFu's...hat wise I'd just take anything...I've gone through various times where I've reduced things down in my life & just wanted to see if my unattainable Wilco stuffery needs might coincide with someone's cleaning out the closet of their life, etc. And about the good will disaster...ouch & sorry...hope somebody who could appreciate them ended up with them...
  17. Good suggestion. I've done that, repeatedly. So far I've found one old one ever...most all of them are from recent years & the KungFu collection...
  18. Hmmmmm...sounds like a lead...I tend to wear a Large, but some Extra Larges can work...and if I keep getting into shape, maybe a Medium....measurements armpit to armpit & from the center of the top of the collar in the back to the center of the bottom of the hem in the back...hopefully this works!
  19. Sarah C.- Appreciate the sentiment/suggestion...but...I'm not much on sewing, not currently dating anyone who is...and am interested in any older shirts that I may not have seen. I love Yo La Tengo too, and KungFu handles their shirts as well...just don't work well for me...To be honest, I only think a minority of the shirt designs are interesting & while there are some I like, I don't care for them enough to go through all that trouble (at least it seems like a bit to go through, when you don't know what you're doing). I'm not a big fan of the company from an artistic perspective...curiou
  20. Sorry if this is the wrong place, but... Sadly pretty much all the shirts at the current Wilco website, via KungFu Nation, are invariably too long length wise for me to wear. They also currently are out of any baseball caps/hats. Sooooooo...I thought I'd take a shot here. My email is "HareDurga@yahoo.com"...and I'd love to possibly get an old Wilco shirt or two that might actually fit me. I'm late to Wilco merch, so I don't really know a ton about what they've had. I've been buying some stuff lately, for me & to give out as gifts, to support a band that I love...and thanks to this site, wh
  21. Analogman- Sorry about the bad form...I know stuff isn't to be "sold", I was just offering to compensate anyone for their time efforts...maybe that'd be better done privately. I'm sure the stuff is online. I don't have any doubts about that...the whole point of me asking on this thread was hoping that someone who has done that searching might share either the info of where to look/find...or, better yet, the fruits of their searching. I'm sure we all have busy schedules in our lives, and I won't bore you with all the details, other than to say that there has been a fair amount of continuing h
  22. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GRATEFUL!!!!!! Blessings Of Love & Light To You & Yours & All!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. I am new to this forum, but am a huge Wilco fan. I've exhausted all the regular release albums, and a couple official website downloads of live shows...and now I'm here. Sadly, as you all probably know, lots of the old downloads from the official Wilco site are now defunct. I'm no audiophile, and would just like to get some version of the non-regular album tracks that are out there. I've seen the long list of rare & odd tracks here, and hope that someone might be kind enough to contact me with either the best resources to download this material...or send me files, and/or CDs. I'd be more t
  24. REALLY appreciate all the info...Here's three things that I've found that aren't on the list. I found them via my Spotify account, and I've downloaded all three via either amazon or itunes- check both sources as some were available on one, but not the other.... ~"Handshake Drugs" Live version From "Radio Woodstock 30th Anniversary Album" ~"Jesus Etc." Live Version, with Andrew Bird, from Summer 2008 From "Funny People (Soundtrack)" ~"Impossible Germany" Live Version from "Rock The Net:: Musicians For Network Neutrality"
