  1. My greatest hope, but I doubt it will happen, would be two Wilco shows & a Tweedy/Jeff Tweedy show. My other hopes involve Richard Thompson/Richard Thompson (my dream of dreams would be a Richard & Linda Thompson reunion!), Donna The Buffalo, St. Vincent, The Tedesci-Trucks Band, & Television...
  2. Soooooooooooo glad that WXRT ended up broadcasting this show (in place of the cancelled Taste Of Chicago gig), as it's totally amazing. And thanks again to Col. Hapablap for capturing it & sharing the show. 14 new songs (out of the forthcoming 20) & amazing performances of them as well.
  3. Col. I PM'd you as well, so check that out too, concerning another version of the Mt. Jam show, but, for instant gratification...here's the link to the better known NYC Taper version- http://www.nyctaper.com/2014/06/jeff-tweedy-june-7-2014-mountain-jam-x-hunter-ny-flacmp3streaming-full-set/
  4. This is so much better quality than the still fine Mt. Jam show (nice to have both until we get those two Roadcase shows)!!! I am soooooooooooo grateful to 'Ole Col. Hapablap!!!! Listening now & have figured out how to use winamp to burn off CD copies as well. Technically challenged- yeah, but I can use a search engine & apparently am not totally technically incompetent. Can't wait for the album & really hoping for some release date Autumnal tour dates for the East Coast!!
  5. Then let me send out extra, extra thanks, again, from the tribe of the technically challenged/non-torrent folk!! Extra good karma your way & PM me to find out if there's anything I could get to you (sonically speaking) that might pay something back...
  6. Thanks, from all of us non-torrent people. I could try to untangle, but knowing you're doing this de-stresses my day & keeps me from digging any deeper with having to figure out how to unravel torrents & get FLAC's to work with iTunes...
  7. Thanks so much. I appreciate your offer for a Dropbox situation- to the technically challenged, like myself, I would be most grateful, thanks again!!
  8. Just saw this on the official Wilco website: "Monday, July 7, pre-order Sukierae and get new song, “Summer Noon” on Wilcoworld, iTunes & Amazon + watch world premiere of “Summer Noon” video at wilcoworld.net"
  9. "St. Vincent" by St. Vincent And her back catalog is that great too! With I've now heard from "Sukirae" it appears to be the one other I'd put up there with St. Vincent, but there's been lots of other cool stuff too...faves being Beck and Jon Langford & Skull Orchard too!
  10. Couldn't find the thread...can you give a Link a link? Someone just wrote to me about this asking me if I knew about it.
  11. Ouch! Oh well...that gives me twice as much to look forward to for when the album comes out...and...I was going to lay off the dozen new songs that are out there from the Mt. Jam show & wait to hear the Roadcase releases (especially that amazing D.C show- WOW! & all 15 originals he's done so far)...but I guess I can just enjoy about the album's worth (12 tracks) of the eventual double album (20 songs) throughout the Summer, without taking any breaks waiting for the Roadcase releases to drop... Don't know what the other 4 are like, but "I'll Sing It" is clearly something they could do
  12. The Official Mountain Jam YouTube Channel has posted three songs from his set (hoping for the whole set, and/or more songs)- all new ones!!! "Down From Above": "Flowering": "Slow Love":
  13. I'm far from a veteran here, but I'm betting this is probably the greatest first post ever...Thanks (for this & all you do)!! And welcome aboard!!!
  14. Believe this is from a broadcast capture (not NYC Taper here- but THANKS!! to NYC Taper- pretty amazing first post!!!)...Part I of two proposed parts...Looking forward to Part 2 with "Honeycombed", "Low Key", "New Moon", "Fake Fur Coat" & "Nobody Dies Anymore" 1 )"Diamond Light" (0:00-6:38) 2) "High As Hello" (6:39-10:19) 3) "Slow Love" (10:20-15:51) 4) "Summer Noon" (15:52-19:18) 5) "Down From Above" (19:19-23:43) 6) "Flowering" (23:44-26:34) 7) "World Away" (26:35- 30:07)
  15. Just a reminder that I still currently have an extra of these that's up for grabs.
  16. Baltimore was a great show (probably my fave moment of both shows was "Honeycombed" in Baltimore...probably...), but Washing ton D.C. was, as "they" say, "one for the ages"! It reminded me of the 1-2 of this years shows at The Vic...first one was great, but the second one was transcendent. Interesting tidbit...I requested "Deeper Down" for last night & wow! what a beautiful version. In 2013, I was in line for the all-request Vic shows on night #2, & talking to the person next to me. We both had "Deeper Down" as our first choice (thus figuring it'd be a slam dunk of sorts), but put dow
  17. I got yours & one other. I'm going back home & I'll open the other one & play it it to convert to CD & a file of, & then sell it... So get me your info & I'll get it to you ASAP For anyone else, if anyone else wants a copy, I'm getting rid of the other one, so just PM me here...first come, first served...
  18. I'm grateful for the generosity of the elders of the high council of our order...soon we will all join together with others of our kind & wait for the sign that will show us it's time to don our blankets & walk into the desert...apparently, by this time we'll all be wearing white (like the bass player had done before us...) & if were lucky, this, this will be our soundtrack... ...unless the sign comes after the album comes out & then "Sukirae" will be soundtrack...have fun waiting for the sign, hope white is a good color for you & carry on then
  19. Just got the best one I could have ever hoped for today, & will be digging it all the way down to Baltimore, D.C. & on the way back too I'm sure... In fact I'm soaking in it now...thanks Madge...and 'Ole TwoShedsJackson!!
  20. I'll pick it up for you tonight in Baltimore. ! I'll also write back to you to confirm that I got it...Glad to help, so no finder's fee (just shipping etc.!
  21. Sorry you can't make it. I PM'd you in regards to two friends of mine...if no one is up for it...I know they'd be...
  22. Still have the one for Washington D.C. on 6/10. Price drop from $55 to....wait for it, drum roll please...$50!!
  23. When I was talking to someone about this, the first thing I said that it felt like The Band. My buddy heard it & said it's a specific song. By the second listen he came up with the live version of "Don't Do It" as well. Both great songs!! I'm still kind of surprised that no one captured the performance at Mountain Jam. I was thinking it'd end up on youtube somehow. I spoke to a friend who was planning on it, but things didn't work out & he wasn't that pressed about it, because he assumed someone would get it. Apparently many folks were thinking someone else would get it. Maybe I need
