I like his solo album better than the final Superdrag album. Since you brought him up, there's been rumors of a possible Superdrag tour. Really, really hoping for it. They were probably my favorite live band of the late 90s. Why would the Jets trade their player on defense for Portis when they just traded for Thomas Jones? They wouldn't, it's a silly blog rumor. I'm not sold on Quinn or Russell, which is why anyone who passes on Calvin Johnson (yes, even the Lions), is making a huge mistake. He's a once in a lifetime player. What sucks is that a Yankee pitcher hasn't backed a Red Sox batter off the plate in years (which is just ridiculous). I don't want them to start headhunting, but you have to throw inside once in a while! I actually have more respect for the Red Sox staff over the last ten years or so because they have no problem with plunking a Yankee every now and then.

Congrats to Buehrle!!! I was lucky enough to have that game be my first doing real-time for everyone's favorite (The Worldwide Leader). Basically just monitoring the mlb feed and entering balls/strikes, etc... when the feed fell behind, but it was still pretty cool. There's definitely worse things than getting paid to watch baseball all night.
